Tactical Merc poison grenade deals 1 more Dot than venom strike(BH+CH) and deals 100% damage compared to 70% damage.

In my opinion this is extremely unfair to deal less damage both in damage and DoT as a BH while a Tactical Merc can do more damage and not be blocked with practically the same move.

A bounty hunter can use smoke + poison, whereas a tact merc cannot.

that could be a good reason for the 70% but not More DoT

BH's poison is blockable.
TLM's poison is unblockable/undeflectable.

tactical merc toxic grenade has 1 turn cool down(acording to wiki) and BH has 2 turns cool down

besides poison aint that usefull with alll the str builds

Wrong. It deals 100% of weapon's damage, so if your weapon has 36 damage then it's (36-<<defence>>=final damage). Venom deals 70% damage but it takes into account your weapon's damage and Strength. Making the attack stronger thus making up for minimally weaker DoT. If it's blocked, oh well. Poison Grenade still ends up much weaker.

Wrong, toxic grenade also deals dmg over weapon's damage and Strength.
So venom strike is 30% less and blockable and 1 dot less.

This is Toxis grenade:

This is venom strike:

So the only difference is:
Toxic = 100%, Venom = 70%
Toxic = Psysical, Venom = Depending on primary kind
Toxic = Unblockable, Venom = Blockable
Toxic = 12, Venom = 11

Which makes toxic grenade better then venom strike.
But toxic grenade is one of the best skills of the TLM, venom strike is not supposed to be the best of the BH.

This quote proves it. If it goes over - as you say - then report it as a bug. Since it IS a bug. I have old logs to confirm this, Staff confirmation can do, right?

Mind you, that's from June 2012, so if it deals damage over primary weapon's damage then it's a bug that needs to be fixed.

Then the description is obviously wrong.
Only differnce between the descriptions is one word and thats ''damage'' .

That does not really indicate the difference, does it?
Then they need to say:
Poisons the enemy over time(3 turns) and inflicts 70% of the primary weapon damage with strength as normal damage

That's correct. You may as well at put it in Bugs section so it can get fixed, since it's misleading already (as seen here). And not everyone go on Forum either so they may not even know.
