The Incredible Hulk -> The main issue about Omega? (2/18/2013 16:23:14)

What do you think the main issue is from Omega?

I would say the lag. It is terribly horrible.

legion of souls -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/18/2013 16:31:30)

Balance.

ValkyrieKnight -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/18/2013 16:37:53)

Fighting NPCs for credits is really boring.

caser5 -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/18/2013 16:42:30)

Balance, Inflation and, for me, the uselessness and inability to sell my Delta weapons.(Awful active core + unsaleable).

Vagaran -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/18/2013 16:45:31)

My main issue is the STR Abusers...Very annoying for a battle to end in 2 turns e_e

Stabilis -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/18/2013 17:46:56)

Short battles at low-health. "Tanks" can last 10+ turns but their matches are quite boring as they either are purely defensive doing almost nothing to end the battle just maintaining the battle, or will be unstoppable with the spamming of Infernal Overload.

Too much emphasis on passive ability as it was in Delta. When you play a turn-based game whether it be action or strategy, you should always emphasize player involvement; else it appears more of a casual game than a contest.

EDIT: Typos, typos everywhere! Smartphone keyboards argh...

Lycan. -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/18/2013 17:50:26)

Balance is definitely a broad issue, i don't see how the testers are doing there job properly..

Mondez -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/18/2013 17:55:08)

The balance really made my Blood Mage build useless in battle that I switched over to mercenary and changed up my build to what would work for me.

@Vagaran
Str-abusers are annoying, but they are pretty easy to get down due to the lack of def (on my part though) the high dex players are something I have been watching out for.

King Oranges -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/19/2013 0:38:48)

Lag and the stat abusers.

Giras Wolfe -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/19/2013 1:05:04)

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...[infinite a's]...aaaaaag

Dimentic -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/19/2013 12:55:51)

Varium or its uselessness.

Personally, not having even a little boost by paying and supporting the game make me lose interest.

Vagaran -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/19/2013 13:08:31)

@Mondez

Trust me, fighting level 34 STR Abuser is very tough...

EpicIsEpic -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/19/2013 13:21:25)

At Dimentic
Well it would be pretty difficult to balance the game with variums having HUGE advantage. uneque skill cores are only for varium players e.g. azreals will.
Back to the topic:
My main consern is balance right followed by varium packs exclusive cores BECAUSE they are going to make them more and more OP until they reach the limit bringing it back to Delta. If you dont have varium then its an aouto loose.

Mondez -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/19/2013 14:37:53)

@Vagaran
Hmmm... I guess I haven't properly fought a proper str abuser yet because most I've seen use str build mercenary and max out bunker buster, but in my case I keep my str at 58 while making sure I keep a decent def and I maxed out blood commander.

Anyways on topic, there should be a whole rebalance because I do like the limit on the stat increases on the weapons and armory, but for some reason even with the limit I think the most basis on the unbalancing are certain skills on certain classes along with the type of build.

Darkwing -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/19/2013 15:15:36)

lack of PVP drops

Nightmarefang -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/19/2013 15:51:07)

I've found that the winner of 1v1s I'm in are determined by who goes first too often. And I miss being able to fight npc's like normal players, sometimes it gets frustrating running into the same people over and over and over again...

And a lot of people seem to be crashing during 2v2s

Also don't see the problems with boosters... never really saw people using them in pvp, personally only used em when i needed them for boss fights

Wootz -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/19/2013 16:52:03)

Inflation as said already. I don't want to spend 16 hours a day just to have a new weapon. Heck, I don't even have enough credits to retrain to a legit build. :3

Thylek Shran -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/19/2013 17:06:11)

Balance always was a problem in ED so I dont think that it is the main issue in Omega.

The biggest issues for me are high credit prices for weapons, armors and not reusable cores.
Once you have enhanced an item with cores and powered it up to the character level
your stuck with it for a long time. You have to spend alot credits or varium for just one
item graphic change.

Example for lvl 35 item change:

Seasonal-Rare weapon: 23,750 credits
2 cores: 14,000 credits
= 37,750 credits

If you sell the old item you can subtract about 7,000 credits but in many cases the
players want to keep their old items. Just for fun or to get the Treasure Hunter
chievo in the future.

Another issue is that you maybe want to have a set of items that fit to each other
by their look. So a swap of several items can easily cost more than 100k credits.

Rackenhammer -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/20/2013 11:01:25)

Lag has definitely been the biggest issue for me, though I will say that I can see the point about high credit costs for upgrading equipment. A non-varium player would generally be restricted to one set of equipment, and have to go without an optimized build for quite some time if they wanted the graphical upgrade of a new weapon/armor.

WindRaven -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/21/2013 19:17:10)

i Want warkills back!!!!!!!!!!

Blaze The Aion Ender -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/21/2013 19:52:36)

1. Balance
2. Credit prices
3. To be more specific, core prices

Fortitudo -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/21/2013 20:29:22)

Lag, leavers, noob team mates, credit prices.

hijinks -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/21/2013 20:34:23)

Small almost meaningless amounts of credit rewards for weapons/armors that sell for 20k+ we only get about 12-54 credits when it isn't powerhour.

ThePriest -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/21/2013 20:36:45)

Several new cores,
So you get more opportunities to do more builds.

A proposal may well be releasing two types of cores.
One of varium and one for free players.
Examples of this can be.
Varium cores = 30% more dmg,
Credit cores = 10-15% more dmg.
Same cores. but stronger for varium players.

Then varium players get use of the all their varium also.
Plus epicduel can use the same core, but only give a little extra on the varium can buy.

Ranloth -> RE: The main issue about Omega? (2/21/2013 20:42:46)

Cores are meant to be equal in power, no matter if they are on Varium equipment or purchaseable with Credits so it's a no. They may be limited in terms of availability but overall power should be equal across all cores. (of course some more useful than others depending on the situation)
