I think its ok to see a build to learn, but not fair that ppl see ur build that u made slowly and using ur mind and copy it exactly because it works. When was Delta to copy a build exactly like it is wAS not so easy because u needed some kind of weapons and enchancements (credits and varium and was fair) in that times varium was really a convenient stuff, i can say this with all security, balance can't be here, doesnt matter how many time they fix the game or nerf classes if u are fighting the same build most of times, it mades a boring game and just win who start first mostly, game lose balance and fun, I have my own good builds and i dont use them now cuz they are easily copied, hope it get a solution cuz its a big problem and its the REAL reason of complains of players if u think with calm

fix it how?

Copy builds don't destroy balance.

Copy builds are a RESULT, of poor balance.

Fix balance constantly and persistently with accurately tested teams and you will fix "copy builds".

Or at a least make popular style builds EASILY counter-able with any class or style.

Popular builds are NOT a problem when they have no major advantage, people copy for a reason, and that reason is they are exploited effortless options hard to counter completely as a result of poor balance.

I would like to make players aware however that popular builds will always come and go, powerful copy builds will always appear from time to time,

In which case balance changes need to occur frequently as a never ending process, never should it be considered a one off thing.

Many sophisticated PvP games experience the exact same issues, and the good ones soften the issues with constant balance updates and planned thorough testing.

Exactly.

you COULD have fixed ur problem here by getting good weapons and armor in the past that now have skill cores that everyone doesn't have.
I have been using a bunch of a builds hard to copy cuz everyone doesn't have all my weapons and armors.

Note: The reply I'm giving is based on a summary of the first post (Which, to be honest, was quite hard to understand)
What I assumed you were saying: "People can see each other's builds, and because of the recent update, they can copy off of each other, meaning less room for creativity and more on dependence."

The point of seeing how their build works is to give players a fair chance of countering them. The "Copy/Paste" part is to improve their build. And as far as I'm concerned, no build is unbeatable, therefore, it does not affect balance.

Besides, if you couldn't see the other build, it would be a guessing game. It'd be like fighting a new NPC with no wiki info EVERY battle.

Rowl -> RE: To Copying Builds Destroy's the balance (3/2/2013 2:27:31)

Im agree, that's not exactly the problem for me, I think its fair to see another builds, but now is VERY easy the copy, paste, which in the past was not that easy because the armor kind and requeriments were there, but now things are like they are and i can be original as I want, but i got bored of fight against same builds all time, its like fighting same NPC a lot of times, (talking about NPCS)
