Giras Wolfe -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/22/2013 2:05:42)

If a player asks me for help with his build, I always stop whatever I'm doing to help him.

King Helios -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/22/2013 15:33:39)

^ Same, unless it is around reset and/or I am battling hardcore.

Delta_legend -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/22/2013 18:11:58)

Lol i agree to this because at one point using my lv 33 i got beaten by a lv 30 Keep in mind hes a kid he beat me with luck and then calls me a noob :D

Darkeroid -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/23/2013 8:49:03)

I say Gg to players who actually played good, or survived a long time against me. I also give people compliments. Even those who call me noob. If it was a good game but he called me noob, I will still say Gg.

ansh0 -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/23/2013 9:23:58)

I let a lv29 win against me during power hour yesterday.

Done that alot.

Feels good.

spectra phantom -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/23/2013 20:29:26)

Whenever i see anybody use a rare weapon I compliment them. I give advice to people, about what they could do to improve their build, where they can purchase certain items etc and I can say that niceness comes back around. :) People usually compliment back whenever I've complimented them and otherwise, I always try to compliment people back when they compliment me :P

Luna_moonraider -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/23/2013 22:18:45)

well in 2v2 if u kill 1 person and lose u will get more credits and exp . i usually try to give the losing side 1 kill if i know i can win/i trust my partner so that they get 53 credits and more exp. other than that i just tell where the i got my wep. I try my best not to call people noob.

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/23/2013 23:02:04)

I do complain if luck factors really run wild, so guess I'm not exactly a model player :P

But I've met many kind people in EpicDuel complimenting me for having a unique build, and very rarely some nice and extremely quirky ones. If we just consciously tried to be nice and brighten others' days, it could have a positive loop effect, which would be great for the community.

King Helios -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/24/2013 12:50:03)

@luna: I agree. Everyone should take the minute to give the losing team the extra 21 credits.

Stabilis -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/24/2013 12:57:14)

There are no special cases for when I am nice or welcoming to other people, I just do that naturally.

I Am Your Afterlife. -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/26/2013 19:07:20)

I like to help the lower levels, but they never say thanks :S

nico0las -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/26/2013 19:57:44)

I'm not one for talking in battle, but I do some things for players when I feel they deserve it.

Example: If I beat a player more than four times consecutively, I enter a winky face ;) and then drop out of the battle.
I also enjoy purposefully losing or dropping out of a battle if my opponent is very close to leveling up (less than 100 xp left).

Aside from that, I am regularly polite to all my opponents. I fame them all up, compliment them if they're going to lose, maybe make suggestions.
It is key to be nice to everyone you play with. It leads to a better Epicduel, which is something we all want, no?

Exploding Penguin -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/26/2013 20:45:46)

typically when players are mean to me (such as calling me "noob" or saying my build is bad, etc...) I first try to reason with them. If that doesn't work, then I'd just stay quiet and not say anything except for the "gg" at the end. Often I see people who incorrectly use deadly aim because they are unsure of its scaling against their gun damage (example: 35 damage gun user who uses level 7 deadly aim), and I always tell them that they should either invest or take out one more point from the skill.

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/27/2013 9:26:26)

Kindness? Yesterday in 2v2 my partner was arguing with one of our opponents by calling her a "beach" it was hilarious IMO. I just ignore the insults and stay out of the arguments. Besides, all people ever say now is "GG".

midnight assassin -> RE: Kindness in EpicDuel (2/27/2013 9:40:38)

I spare a tm or a certain class not using an op build or 4-5 lvls lower than me.
