What happened to that class?

The other skills are OK but I'm talking about PLASMA BOLT.

-33 strength required?
-low energy now now

I wouldn't say that plasma bolt is OP. Why does it even have 33 strength required. Yeah maybe because people may spam tech build and plasma people but you can EMP them making them fully weak. I don't get this. I only think TM was OP when they had that supp+malf+plasma. TM looks like a useless class now. I barely think people will turn TM now.

I was going to turn TM but thanks to someone that reminded me it had 33 strength required.

And why did blood lust go up by 5%? Yes I know it was for blood mages but you could've named a new skill for blood lust for BMs and called it 'X', and then put 5%; but no, you buffed up bounty hunters also giving them 5%, which makes them OP (IMO). Yes I understand why you buffed it but you could've made a new skill for BMs and then buffing it.

So that tech mages can be balanced. Past days, tm's always used to do a tech build and believe it or not, but they actually used to win alot. I am a tm aswell. Though, you are right. They put plasma on str, there will be str-tech mages or something else. If they put the requirements on anything, it will still be the same. So it's balanced to me.

Tech mages are HORRIBLY underpowered compared to others.

No bloody way to win.

EMP SPAM

Anything?

EMP SPAM

TM really needs to be buffed alot.

REmove req on plasma bolt and reduce energy cost.

LOL, you can dex spam as a mage. You have the generator core that allows you to counter emp. Overload, plasma rain, and technician go up with dex. Tech mage is NOT UP. In fact you can still be a battle mage. I use a dex spaming build as a TM and score quick wins.

I lost from a TM 3 times in a row. And i got 86.8% win yesterday and today..
So yeah, TMs are not in any way UP

The strength requirement isn't that much of a burden as you don't need to invest a lot into plasma bolt for it to be effective. It costs a fairly low amount of energy for massive damage with fast scaling, and increasing your strength by a small amount of 4 points is enough to bring plasma bolt to a usable level. The increased energy cost definitely was required as tech abuse caster builds were using level 4 plasma and hitting tank builds with 30+ damage...

No, cyber hunters are. They are the only class that cannot make a 2 turn build. Tech mages are not UP or OP. All they did was nerf Plasma bolt because it was needed.

2 turn builds should be discouraged, because that's sheer abuse. They shouldn't even be do-able.

The reason for the requirement is that all-tech plasma bolt mages were DOMINATING at levels 20-25. Did you not see the random level 25 tech mages on the leaderboards with 400 kills and a 90% win rate?

Dude, you're really stuck on that 2-hit build thing, when people are foolish enough to let themselves get killed in 2 turns. I was only able to kill people in 2 turns as a support merc because people either gave up since they knew they couldn't win for whatever reason, or they were just inexperienced players who didn't anticipate a strong artillery strike.

lol, the two turn thing is primarily to lvl up faster and gain creds faster. That is the only valid reason to do so. Otherwise it is useless.

Even so TM is the weakest class right now.


Both hunter classes are pretty damn OP.

CH can run high hp support+max massacre for 99% win rate.

BH can run anything for 99% win rate.

TM can run nothing for even 50% win rate.

I still don't see BH being OP, and usually when I'm using the OP class, I can see it

I think TM's need to adjust their strategyv

You sayTM needs a BUFF on builds that need HIGH technology?!

For Plasma Bolt builds, why not try, instead of maxing, use a level 6 with Malf (which lowers res which makes it better) and use Technician (which powers up Plasma Bolt)

A class should NOT be able to do 70+ damage on a skill with little EP and little Warm Up.



I find TM's extremely balanced now. Players just need to THINK before they make a build now.

Ever try a Strength Tech Mage? Or a Support Tech Mage? Let me say, those are DEADLY! :D

Well, I use a tank tech mage with max Technician and reroute with a lvl 3 plasma bolt lvl 1 super charge, and in the future, lvl 8 assimilate. Why don't you do something creative like that? It works.
