what do you all think about making it so you can link with a friend, like the boss fights only you and the friend are linked in 2v2

This would go into suggestions, not general discussion...

This wouldn't be too good because you could easily make you and your ally's build work with each other to an extent of just ridiculous amounts. For example, 2 support mercs in 2v2 are nearly unstoppable, particularly if they crit. Such other combinations could be easily accessible if you can choose your ally.

Not supported at all. Think about how unfair that would be for people. or how much longer battles might take and all of that stuff. Gotta take into consideration pros and cons. But sadly with this idea the cons outweigh the pros

Interesting idea, I think it would add to strat but would be open to abuse in copying builds. Also, it would make some pairs unstoppable, imagine if I was a Str abusing merc with max double strike and max berzerker, while my partner abused support with multi and Blood commander. It is very easy to see how this can get out of hand. Or TM that abuse tech, and Ch abuse support.
