ReconnaisX -> Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/4/2013 22:56:20)

Pretty much what I did today in Power Hour. A 2vs2 came down to me and a Level 35 CH. She used her gun (yeah, it's that Azrael one)'s special on me, and I attacked her. Nothing strange happened. I thought she wanted to get rid of my Rage or something. I told her that there was more or less no strategic point in using that gun special that I could see. As it turned out, the following turn I had rage. I used my Infernal Android's special to even the battle.

It got really close. She had ~20 health and I had 22. One attack later, she had 2 health. My partner actually congratulated me in advance, as we were "out-leveled". She raged, though, and killed me. It took her a while to actually attack, as she was (apparently) typing a very angry message about me being a something that I won't say here (but you might be able to guess). She also told me something about healing and not attacking (I'd guess the old "heal noob" statement). She was pretty angry. Hey, at least she won the battle.

Have you guys ever accidentally made any of your fellow players mad or angry?

Blaze The Aion Ender -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/4/2013 23:03:52)

Pretty much whenever I do something really dumb in 2v2 that I realise I could have not done and won the game
I dislike losing, so things like that - where I could've taken the win - bother me, and apparently msot of my team mates

Giras Wolfe -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/4/2013 23:05:41)

I feel really bad when I do a stupid move in 2v2. Especially when my noob partner starts scolding me xD

DanniiBoiixD -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/4/2013 23:07:18)

Ended Crimson Eagle's win streak by not paying attention to the fight. He got mad at me. :) I apologized though.

nico0las -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/4/2013 23:13:02)

Are you kidding? I abuse everything I can.
Every player I face gets angry.
Healing seems to be a big deal nowadays. It's a skill, and there is no shame in using it. If they don't understand that, it's not your problem.

ReconnaisX -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/4/2013 23:21:42)

@above
I actually think it was me telling her that using her gun special at that particular moment in the battle really had no point. Maybe I was acting a little stupid then.

Exploding Penguin -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/5/2013 0:02:03)

From my point of view, there is no problem with inquiring about the intentions of an opponent's move. It could just be a fact of immaturity and misinterpretation, given she typed a very angry message which is typically not characterized of people with strong communication skills.

Dimentic -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/5/2013 0:16:06)

Of course I get mad when I lose, sometimes I express it in the chat.. It's not like I'm proud of it but I feel that Omega is making most players mad..

NDB -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/5/2013 0:18:32)

I get a mad a lot. And sometimes in 2v2 when I get mad at my partner for being dumb or the other side for getting lucky but end up winning, I get pretty embarrassed.

Trifire -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/5/2013 20:24:46)

I get mad when my partner in 2v2 doesn't make a move or leaves the battle.

Rogue Ninja -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/5/2013 20:31:24)

I hate the fact that you know of what you should do to win in a 2 v 2 battle, but they wouldn't agree with you. Oh well, it happened a lot of times already since beta phase. I'm already used to it.

Q...Q -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/5/2013 22:32:21)

If someone gets mad at me, ill make sure he shut the f up in the next 5 seconds

God i love other games thAt helped.

ReinVI -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/6/2013 21:19:05)

yup I do believe I make plenty of people mad... since If my plasma nade stuns I control the battle for the most part using azreals will afterwards stopping them from doing pretty much anything.

8x -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/7/2013 8:45:23)

Here is how you can make "f4f people" mad, accept their f4f and then explain that you thought it meant "fame for free". :P

romanu -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/7/2013 9:05:38)

I dislike enemy teams in 2vs2 when they say something like:" that move you made is bad, you should of made that move...". lol if it's my partner..ok then he wants to win our fight, but enemys that give you strategy advices? that's annoying

Ranloth -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/7/2013 9:07:59)

I love when players order me around. Usually allows me to say that we lost because of him/her and her strategy which was terrible, instead of mine. It's wonderful to see that I'm the one standing and they are dead blaming me. If their strategy was to succeed then they wouldn't be dead. :3

Darkwing -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/7/2013 9:14:20)

^ Yes, some players in 2vs2 fail to understand 2vs2 is about team work, not boss around the other player lol

STRUT MY MUTT -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/7/2013 9:25:13)

Make people mad? That's why Epic Duel gave us a spoon, so people can stir the pot. [8D]

Stabilis -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/7/2013 9:28:27)

When teamates tell me my radical setup is bad or how to improve it (usually by adding overpowered attacks), I can inform that when using an overpowered attack build (or simply a common build), they are being even cheaper than me with their "soup of the day" discount when I get the cream of mushroom every time. Yeah.

drinde -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/7/2013 10:01:34)

Must your analogy make me hungry?

Now, on topic... I wonder if anyone actually treats making their opponents rage as a viable strategy. It could work as a distraction, as well as making them forget to use up their 15 seconds. It seems kind of cheap to me though, any thoughts?

ReconnaisX -> RE: Making Your Fellow Players Mad (3/8/2013 0:47:37)

@drinde
Anything to win a battle :D
