Made 4 Sunny Days -> Banded Together (3/5/2013 16:58:12)

Hey guys, so I've been playing a lot of 2v2 recently (not that that's any different from what I usually do haha) And I had a thought.
What classes do you think compliment each other the best and why?
What two classes would you absolutely not want to face off against together?

For me, I always feel the facing off against a tech mage and tlm is the worst. Tlm tank hard and make real great use of the tech mage's malfunction to deal high damage. Both with reroute can make for lots of heals and a super long battle (assuming you live that long)

Tactical Mercenaries & BH's. Perfect match up.
You could ask comicalbiker. We vs each other and was awesome (2v2)!!!!!

Mercenarys to Bounty hunters. A definitely lose to the mercenary since Bh got a buff with that Blood lust. Unless if the mercs got luck, then they would win. But other then that, most classes would hate to vs BH (2v2).

Most powerful classes together?
Either BH - TLM or TM - TLM. I've also played some insane TM - CH games.

Most dangerous classes together?
BH - BM or TLM - BM. Never underestimate a Field Commander Fireball...

The biggest thing in 2v2 is how well you can use your class. A GOOD blood mage is absolutely horrifying to play against, even if the class is built for 1v1.
In brief, this question is more dependent on your opponents' skill than the class itself.

Haha, so true.

I would say Tactical Mercinary and Cyber Hunter because they both have high defenses.
Cyber Hunters can cripple the enemy with EMP grenade and start an offensive with malfunction.
Tactical Mercinarys have long-term sustainability with reroute and frenzy, and also have artillery strike and Surgical Strike as offensive tools.

I think that it's more based off of build type rather than class; 2 opponents that are super tanky IA users can be near unstoppable in 2v2, particularly if they supplement each other with heal looping. 2 support mercs in 2v2 can also be very hard to deal with given they bombard you with crits and massive damage for a few turns, and, if you can survive, you'll probably end up dying to a rage aux later after their storm of heals.

A tanker and a glass cannon works well with the new Azrael's Will core.

An "assistant" character with high Medics and possibly Generator goes a long way to help Focus builds and Support Mercs.

An "annoyer" (EMP-Atom/Yeti/Poison) character combines well with anything that can last and dish out enough damage for the "annoyer" to sweep up.

I'm a 5-focus CH, and I've played with some high-tech TMs. I think they compliment each other well.
