So we are discussing if an event is a success despite it not being over yet? .-.

I also said I'm hoping for the last week to have some excitement, but I highly doubt it.
Your point goes the same way with omega..its not over yet, but we still judge the phase when there is much more to come.

Drianx -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 10:20:38)

I agree with Calogero. They should have made missions less dependable on luck and more predictable.
Most of us are already sick of the luck factor and RNG spitting in our faces.

DeathiZClarity -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 10:24:51)

^ Lets create another thread for that? xD

Mother1 -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 10:28:22)

@ drianx

And if they did that, then it would have been extremely easy IMO. I myself already completed those missions, and for me while many used the low level characters to get the pelts and bacon I used the ones within my level range. Sure they took longer to beat but they had a higher drop rate, and every time I beat them I got credits which is already a reward.

Also the only reason it is in your words spitting in your faces within battle is because of the luck cores they made that increase, block deflect and crit chance. Remove those from the game and the rates will go back to normal.

Scyze -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 10:40:34)

@Mother1,

Don't you feel like we have to work too hard?
There are people playing EpicDuel from poor countries and are barely able to finish Missions quickly due to their Internet speed.

DeathiZClarity -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 10:58:12)

^ I honestly never thought about that but you bring an extremely good point.

So..because there are people with slow internet they just need to change the whole mission system for them?

Good point..really..

Calogero -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 12:19:13)

100 Pelts at a 50% drop chance would still not be easy but more bareable...

Like I said, there is a Hard Mission and there are Dreadfull Missions

Mother1 -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 12:38:57)

@ calogero

Ever try using NPC that can also award you credits as well that you know you can beat? That is what I did when I was doing those missions so even when I did get a pelt I got credits as well. By the time I was finished I actually gained quite a few credits which ended up helping me as well.

DeathiZClarity -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 14:24:58)

^ Good point, but farming an Npc with the same skills and build and everything for 4 days straight is way too boring. And 150 pelts with a high drop rate isnt easy, its just a way for people who hate the luck factor to bare with it better.

Scyze -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 19:11:55)

@Blitzex/Sr. Zeph

Show me where I put "change the whole mission system"?

All I said was that there are people from poor countries who play and are barely unable to complete missions quickly. Do you even know how it would feel?

Mother1 -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 19:19:07)

@ Neos

Even so it isn't a valid reason to make missions easier when the purpose behind them is to make your work for the ultimate prize, or spend varium to get it if you don't want to work. If the missions were made easy do you honestly think people would spend varium for a short cut?

Scyze -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 19:21:44)

Look at you, repeating what the Staff always say.

Even though the Varium is a shortcut, why is it 995 Varium to buy the items to evolve? Now where have I said to alter the missions? Think before you really put forward your counter argument.

Mother1 -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 19:29:04)

@ Neos

So what am I suppose to say when that is the whole purpose why they made the missions the way they did? "The staff made the misssions hard to torture the masses?"

We both know that was the reason why they made the missions the way. Why do you think they added the option to evolve your yeti with varium as well?

Scyze -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 19:30:40)

@Mother1

So people would waste time or the Staff want the money from people buying Varium to evolve. Simple.

All I can say is a game is suppose to be fun, reduce stress, and relax. When a game doesn't do this and you feel as if it's more of a chore and bore to do the n it becomes a job and no one's wants that. I understand that all games have a few hard parts once in a while, but there's a difference between hard parts and mentally painful and numbing parts in which destorys the whole purpose of a game, to have fun. Sure from time to time I don't mind a few hards parts, but when something like the yeti pelts mission gets released it's just too much.

DeathiZClarity -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/8/2013 22:58:36)

@ hulk

finally someone on topic. Thank you Hulk.

Lord Noonien Soong -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/9/2013 8:41:07)

Dissappointing, it wasn't like 2011, where there was a war and we got different ranks and everything

ansh0 -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/9/2013 9:20:37)

So all of you people want easy mode, and when you cry for something hard, and you get it, you still cry more.

Deal with it.

axell5 -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/9/2013 9:41:07)

well wars don't happen every time

Cookielord12 -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/9/2013 10:42:38)

Disappointment - Frysteland was dominated by the GYT which was boring for those competing and those not competing.

DeathiZClarity -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/9/2013 11:16:56)

^ My point to begin with. And thank you for being on topic.

ProPerto -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/9/2013 11:59:31)

Dissapointment - i was hoping for something more interesting and fun [8|]

DeathiZClarity -> RE: Frysteland 2013: Success or Dissapointment? (3/9/2013 12:17:20)

^ Exactly especially since we had to wait over 2 months for it.
