You should not be able to put more than 50% of your stat points into any skill, this would fix the pure support mercenary and pure technology tech mage issues, requiring them to put some actual thought into their build.

You can't disagree that any build requiring only one stat needs to be prevented so no single build can be considered the quintessential build for its class.

That would be defeating the purpose of what omega is suppose to represent which is stat freedom. Also in all honestly if they want to do that let them. Powering up one stat leaves them with 3 weak areas to exploit.

Many "Pure technology" build have a lot of thought put into them and are very hard to use. But not overpowered by a long shot. As far as insane str and supp, they have been dealt with.

Yep, I agree with Giras. Most of those tech builds are hard to use.

I don't believe the TM high tech Plasma Bolt/Supercharge builds are very hard at all. Not much thought process, I switched from TM to Mercenary now because of the simplicity, Mercenaries now require a actual strategic +5 focus build or something of the sort. Granted with 1.5.5 I do not know how high tech fairs now, but my personal opinion was it was too easy.

They really don't any debuff at all. When someone builds in a single stat
they are basically depending on a few big hits to "Hopefully" get a quick win,
which against a "proper" well thought out build is put at a disadvantage.
It is just to easy to get around single stat builds and there extremely
predictable. Knowing what your opponent is going to do and preparing
for it is half the battle.

On the Subject of the skill needed for full Tech builds
Difficulty from 1-10 = 6 Averaged
Tech builds depend on large amounts of energy, destroy this and they
loose to easy. A smart full tech has to build in thought of how to adapt
around the constant fear of loss of too much energy.
