Do you think it will turn into an achievement OR Do you think it will stay in your inventory as if its a ''souvenir''? I think it will stay in your inventory and I do not think either that they will go ahead and turn that into an achievement in the next update.

didn't it turn in to the yeti achievement for the top 100 people? Other than them... no why should it?

^^ I see an Omega ticket in my inventory. And the achievment for the top 100 people are different to the one I am talking now. There was 4 achievements for the top 100 people: 1st tier- 1st 2nd tier- 2-20 3rd tier- 21-50 4th tier-51-100 I was thinking that shouldn't that omega ticket change into a achievement. Since it looks like one (an achievement).

no that way people that weren't in the top 100 will get something they didn't work enough for

@axell And what is wrong with getting something you didn't work enough for? Most who got the Golden Ticket tried to win but couldn't. It would be fair to let them get a "Thank you for participating" achievement.

Well, people that brought the omega pre-order package should get it. I'm not telling you why (Against the code of conduct of ED forums).

As suggested before, yes it should turn into a achievement for everyone who have it. Not a big rating, just a achievement to show that he and her have had the ticket and particated in the very first tournament.

@Axell And IMO there should be a "thank you for participating" cheevo for those with the Ticket.

You know what axell5, the 101th guy had about 10k tournament points. That means about 2k 1v1 wins, about the number of all your wins. And he also paid 50 bucks for the game. Now tell him he didn't do enough to get a measly achievement.

im fine if it's a 500 one EDIT: and thats because im still lvl 34 and he is a lvl 35 with practised builds

As I've said before, it shouldn't be a participation achievement that's just awarded to everyone that took part. Only if they actually made an effort. That is, they'd need to be above a certain amount of points. axell: I don't see what your level has to do with this. If you battled more you would actually have level 35 now .-.

@axell Me at start of Tourney: Level 32 and I still got the silver achievement. @Baron Oh yeah, around 1k points it was? I guess it's more than fair.

Axel, You dont really have a fair opinion as you did not buy the Omega preorder. My personal feeling on the matter is that the whole tourney was not in fact a tournament, but a who can adapt to the winning build the fastest, I tried for quite some time, then gave up as it was not worth 20 hours a day just to keep up. I support the Participation cheevo, I think anyone who had points should get it.

^^ You didn't really have to play 20 hours a day. The 1st 3 days, I went hardcore (9k influence if I remember). Then I stopped playing much. I played like 1-2 hours a day. Maybe not even play. I was 15th at the time and dropped down all the way to 60th at the end of the tourney (12k influence). But to be honest, it wasn't a tournament. Tournaments don't last for 2 weeks, it was quite long. But I think the devs have done it for a reason to ban cheaters ^^ And some cheaters got unbanned.

It was like that at the beginning though, I did really good at the beginning, i kept in the top 50 for like, an hour, then people found the support builds..... shudder

The Golden Ticket should turn into a low Rating Achievement, with as description: Thank you for participating in our very first Tournement
