I've been battling the yeti all day, trying to do this mission. so far i have 2/5. Probably over 75-100 wins, and only 2. I think it should be a higher % of drop.

The higher level you fight of the Yeti, the higher drop rate. Mine took around 40 fights for 5 Pelts.

Not supported. if you want a higher drop rate go battle a higher level yeti. Thought the level 35 frost beast is gone the level 30 one still has the highest drop rate.

from the frost beast mother, i got 4 yeti pelts in row.... I know thats such a luck..

The level 35 Frost Demon still exists.
The location changed, and it can now be found on the far left, past Edgar Boothe.

I'm really dissapointed that the only way the devs could think of to make upgrading your yeti "challenging" is by a soul crushing, several hour long NPC grind. They should at least make the drop rate higher and increase the total number of pelts required, just so you feel like you're accomplishing something instead of going 20 battles and getting jack.

Supported. The drop rate % needs to be much higher. It is impossible to get all those pelts. I mean u need 140pelts for 4 missions. Its taking me forever

Good. That's the purpose of Varium, so you can skip the whole process and use Varium as a shortcut or you work for it. Just as it was intended.

lol i battled lvl 25 yeti 10 times and got 5 of those pelts
