The Incredible Hulk -> Lower the percentage for shadow arts (3/11/2013 17:15:52)

Even though I am a BH my self, the blocks are really annoying. Couldn't you lower it down by 5% etc.

Level 1: 0.5%
Level 2: 1%
Level 3: 1.5%
Level 4: 2%
Level 5: 2.5%
Level 6: 3%
Level 7: 3.5%
Level 8: 4%
Level 9: 4.5%
level 10 5%

Too many blocks causes people to get angry because they block so much, it gets annoying.

IIRC, ED's engine rounds everything up (or used to prior to Omega) so 0.5% will be 1%, 1.5% will be 2%, etc., thus overlapping.

Well, I've never knew one can increase Strength by 4.5 to gain damage. ;) Look at stat progression: http://epicduelwiki.com/w/Stat_Progression -> you get +1 damage every 5 Strength and then 4 Strength, and go around it. Explain that.

It is updated, it was updated when Strength progression was changed. Simply put, you cannot increase it by 4.5 so way around it was making it +5 an +4 (4.5*2 = 9).

Agreed. Class already has smoke to lower dexterity. Combining the two just makes it rediculous hence why it isn't as bad on cyberhunters.

i heard someone else suggest this not sure who but i like the idea how about its 5% to block at max and 5% more chance to hit at max

But I would rather the skill get an entirely new effect that's not based on random chance.

Or me, I've suggested that months ago during the era of Balance Discussion Thread but 10% block and 5% connect. This was prior to the cores which would've been fine. >.>

I don't mind if it gets lowered by a few %, but maybe add something else in return?

Say: Reduces all damage by 5% or something?

should just make it an active skill that gives you 100% block as you
attack at 85% with 3-4 cooldown. [Thus removing the luck]
Also sounds like an interesting core idea too, but only 1 use instead.

Or...just remove SA entirely and replace it with a solid passive like reroute, passive armors, blood lust, deadly aim, etc... because this passive is totally broken, and in many cases chooses the winner based off of the high luck factors it grants.

But in all seriousness, don't nerf it. If you nerf it, then take off the support requirement...

Reroute? MOAR ENERGY! No.
Deadly Aim? BMS WITH DA PLASMA ARMOR AND DA STATIC EP REGAIN! No.
Mineral Armor? DAT DOUBLE HYBRID ARMOR! No.
Hybrid Armor? DAT EXTRA RESISTANCE AND EVE MOAR DEFENCE! No.
Bloodlust? DAT EP AND HP REGAIN, TOO GOOD! No.

You see, there's not really an existing passive you can give to CHs, without making them OP as hell.

Or just change it like this :
- gives bonus DEX based on % of base DEX

Level 1 : 11% Bonus Dex ; Level 10 : 20%
Same Stat Requirement .

There you go . No more luck annoying you so much . It needs a change not a nerf .

as the way i see the game even that i have been in the game sense Gamma ,

And when ever New Class Of Evolutions => SHadow arts i don't complay all about what you have said about ,

But Reasons :

first: i understand if you have playd an Enemy => as some other player where against you ) and then sudently it ceeps blocking one to another time => as some times GAME is Uselly BAsed On luck most of it '' as you notice Some time If defence is Lower then you're attack the support of the Enemy might give a % chance of blocking ,

second: bh / ch = has to have some kind of defence against Harder attacks And obviusly if you don't know a STRADEGY against Defence

simply use RAGE ! ) => to create more damage => and as more defence the enemy has You gain % more Rage if you haven't noticed,

the third : even i know my attack's are useless agains't a Tank Buld But i can find to sircle around the enemys defence ANd use the defence against the Enemy ~ yes this might be along prosess to defite this guy whit a huge tank build But as i see that the balenced you are whit ch/ or Bh then better you're chance is , then laying all on defence but all so that means enemy has low attack's witch might give you some time to think about what should you do next ,

Lordshadow. All i can see from ur post is that you are BH and protecting them. Well there isnt bad in that but REMEMBERRRRRR!

Mercenaries was nerfed 8 times
Tech mages was nerfed 4 times
and TActical merc was nerfed 6 times.

And BH and BM got 2 buffs up. So i support. to this unfairness to other classes

Number of nerfs is irrelevant. If there is a balance issue after 50 nerfs, then 51st won't make any difference in terms of the # of nerfs. As long as it's to balance, it can be even 100 nerfs if you want.
