I know Omega hasn't been out very long but It has JUST began (Yeah, I know it isn't that great at the moment).
So the question I have to ask is, What are you hoping most about Omega?

I'm hoping for a dramatic level increase, instead of +1 level at a time.

I believe the only reason we had +1 before Omega was the fact that weapons couldn't be enhanced to higher levels, and it would take forever to create enough weapons for all the new levels.
However, in Omega, you can upgrade items which means no longer needing to making new weapons just to higher the level. Maybe increase to level cap to 40 if we ever get more skills?

Yes, but its impossible to have complete balance.

it alright with me as long as there is solid balance

Yep.

What I want out of omega

1 Balance omega was suppose to bring that, but from what I see it is no better then it was in delta if not worse then before.

It will eventually, remember there are actual people trying to make the balance, not automated computers. They have to do many many calculations, which would include many trail and errors. Be patient with Omega, its only just began.

@ death

it isn't just omega they they have been working on balance. They have been doing this sense the beginning in alpha which is over 4 years. Here is my idea on how to balance things

1 for the love of everything make it so that the only move that is shared among skill trees is field medic. Classes having overlapping skill is one of the big problems. For example if you wanted to buff reroute for TM you would have to buff it for Tech merc who might not need this buff but they are getting it anyways which could OP them.

Another old example was when they changed plasma rain to dex and supercharge to tech to TM casters couldn't destroy everything with tech. However since Blood mage shared supercharge and plasma rain they got this change as well when they didn't need. See what I am getting at?

If all classes had their own skills with the exception of field medic then when one class is OP they can balance that class without buff or nerfing another class that doesn't need it.

^ I thought you were implying the fact that Omega has taken away all balance and failed.

and the problem isn't overlapping skills, its skill combos. cyber hunter either needs Malf or Massacre, not both.
techmage needs either deadly aim, or malf, not both.
Bounty hunter either needs shadow arts or smoke, not them both.
These are just a few of the combos.

Nothing actually. What ever they do, let them do. Even though I rage sometimes in forums about things that they should improve, its a good thing.

Even if they make the game worse, its sometimes a good thing. I've seen 5 of my friends leave because firstly they thought omega was ''crap'' and in there heads they start to knew that ''hold on, whats the point of wasting my time on games when I can revise and learn to have a good education and have a good job''.

That's the good thing about ED. They start to make people realize that its not all about games, It's about a good education and having a good job also.
