Midnightsoul -> Increase stat allocation cap of a weapon (3/19/2013 16:23:34)

Do you guys think that stats are too limited on a weapon? I personally think the limited amount of stats we can put into each weapon is too limited.

For example:

I'm Level 35 and I'm using a sword.
In that sword, a stat at the highest can be 10.
But honestly, it would be a lot nicer if it was 13.

What I'm really trying to say is,
for ALL weapons, we should only be able to put up to 50% of its points into one stat.

So for a sword, it's 25 stat points, so say I wanted to put in all dex and tech, then about half of it can go into dex and the other half, tech. Same goes with other equipment.

I think this will allow a lot more variety from this little change because for example, there are people who want to do a tank build, but they end up with a little couple of extra points where they can't put it into their desired stat. This would then make that person want to do a tank/str or tank/supp build and obviously, there a lot of those builds out there right now.

Supported. The max you can have in one stat is 32 :/

Mother1 -> RE: Increase stat allocation cap of a weapon (3/19/2013 16:33:35)

Not supported. Those limits were put there so people wouldn't be able to completely abuse them. Do you see those extreme builds that spam one stat? This would give those kinds of builds a lot more spamming room which wouldn't be a good thing in the least.

Not Supported.I agree with mother with this one obviously spamming with one stat can create chaos bringing it back to enhancements when the devs didnt know that they were trying to balance the game for variums and non varium alike because the gap was too unfair for F2F players.

A few extra stats isnt much to an abuse build. but will mean the world to balanced builds.

Irrelevant, I said half of the stats into one stat. Not all of the stats.

Guys, I'm saying you can put half of your enhancements into one stat. Not ALL of it.

@ midnightsoul

I got that part however 10% more stats on one itemt = ten percent more abuse for stat abusers. Add that with 4 items and depending on the level of the person it will add a few more points of abuse. I have played for a bit and 1-2 points can sometimes mean the difference between surviving with 1 HP or losing the duel. Let's not help stat abusers who have builds with 100+ of a stat get even more of a powerup.

@ AWQ

Yes it will make a difference. In my last battle with my partner a strength abuser used a blood commander buff, then I countered with my azreal's borg. When he berzerkered my partner he survived with 1 HP. If I hadn't don't that move my partner would have been killed by the attack. If you don't get the point I am trying to make I am saying stats depending on the build and the opponent going against that build can mean the difference between surviving another turn or getting beaten.

Let's not buff stat abusers an extra 10% per item.

If he had a few extra stats for defence or res he also woulda lived, correct?

Stabilis -> RE: Increase stat allocation cap of a weapon (3/19/2013 20:37:00)

50% to a single stat is not gamebreaking. And if it is, the stat is broken, not the location of the stat points.
