Of course. At lower levels, 3 Focus can be potent.

Besides, Yeti Chomp, among other bot specials, are universally useful.

Well, for regular robot attacks, no.
Why?
Becuase I would plan a even more tank 5 focus build because I can abuse more freely with my focus build

well yetis, azrael, assault bots, and pyro's specials are very useful at low focus levels, although they may do 3 dmg or such but pretty effective when the situation calls nontheless

while infernal's special could potentially be pretty effective on 3 focus, just wait for the turn it gets max damage and use it before rage to soften your opponent up.

You think 3 focus tech BH, with high robot technology bonus and smoke, would be worth it?

well yeah, you can have that tech used for a level 5 smoke maybe a level 3 emp, and keep defense low to decent since ur smoke will negate the dex difference between urs and his, and ur SA will help you block, armor mostly---->fully on defense for best generator efficiency (25hp bonus).
