One: Infernal Android needed to be nerfed harder. It's still absurdly powerful. I was 5 focus hunter for a week, and this game became totally boring. Way too easy.

Two: 5 Focus builds are too good, as evidenced by the fact that EVERYONE IS 5 FOCUS. Boooooooooring. Sure, players may have different cores and robots, but in the end it's still a 5 focus build. Laaaaaaaame. Maybe there should be a PENALTY for choosing to have all stats at 45(ish) instead of a bonus.

They said Omega would bring variety, but I'm not seeing it AT ALL.

How 'bout you?

I was focus at the start of Omega and I was enjoying a 50% rate and being unique. Now I'm at 50% rate, not unique and not enjoying as BM doesn't many many other decent builds, if any to compete with 5 focus. And I don't have credits or Var to change class.

I don't think that 5 focus can be nerfed, as other builds will grow favourable and get nerfed and so on and so on until nothing is left. Basically, this is the most stable that it has been and it should stay.

IA and another nerf? Then Heal before they get you or keep your HP high. Or Shield to partially reduce damage. Deflections can also aid you. It isn't as much of a trouble as before, especially since it caps at 130% damage instead of 140%.

So what if everyone uses Focus 5? As you've said, they have different Cores and Bots. Penalised for equal stats? Why is that? What if I have around 40 in each stat due to ridiculous skill requirements? I'd be labeled as Focus whilst it's not my fault. What if I don't use the Bot for damage (say Assault Bot) but for its ability & want to have equal stats? So called 'jack of all trades, master of nothing'. Focus suffers from low EP and lower HP than other builds which would have more freedom since they don't have to have at least 45 in each stat.

Variety? Because Focus 5 didn't exist in Delta, right? People still abuse like they did before. People use Focus 5 like they did before. Variety doesn't have to come in terms of stats. If more Bots will be released - which there will be - then Focus 5 will seem better if Bot seems good enough to use and aid their build. Focus 5 can also be leaning towards offence and defence - depends on one's preference. Low amount of cores makes it look simiar for the time being. It's very early in the Omega phase anyway. By saying "Omega will bring variety", you didn't expect results right off the bat? It's like finishing Delta phase when it's started. Give it some time.

Ok first,

IA was nerfed enough! IA is expose to be a power-attack bot. IT HAS NO OTHER REASON TO BE USED. (unless an opponent has 3 hp)

Saying IA needs another nerf is just like saying Massacre is too powerful compared to the other super skills.


Massacre is PURE POWER while the other skills have SIDE EFFECTS.
IA is PURE POWER yeti, assualt, azrael, bio borg, ect have SIDE EFFECTS. (other than gamma, but its repeatable use, which is an advantage to IA)

Punished for balancing your points?
If we keep nerfing everything there will be no game.

You're all missing the point. In order to be competitive now, you NEED to be 5 focus. It's the best build for all classes HANDS DOWN. In all other phases, of course there were 5 focus builds, but OTHER types of builds could compete with them.

That simply isn't the case now.

Oh, and stop using the word "abuse" to describe stats or a build. It's a total misuse of the word.

I have a perfect
support with moderate tech (20-25) and def (10-15 +10).
Its a techmage build with malf + aux + plasma bolt + supercharge.

It easily beats 5 focus, other that cyber hunters.

Don't use the term 'abuse'? Ok so, ill use the term 'Nonfocus build with tons of stats points in 1 stat.'

Does that sound better?

Ok time to go thinking off some builds.

Strength bounty with high hp and low defences.

Support cyber, dex cyber, and loop heal cyber.

Tech abuse tactical merc, high hp strength tac merc (loop healing involved), and support low hp tac merc.

Tech abuse merc, and support merc.

Strength bloodmage, support bloodmage, and dex abuse bloodmage.

Techmage loop healing strength/support, techmage dex abuse, techmage techabuse, techmage support, moderate strength moderate defences with high hp (loophealing)

I hope you're joking about the "need to be 5 focus" part. I'm using a support/strength massacre build for CH, and am currently enjoying a 80% win rate.

I did a Dex BM which worked well in Juggernaut and 2v2 alike. Rare? Maybe. People go for Focus because they know how to use it and it isn't that hard to play with it. Caster TMs too work but already mentioned, then high Support builds (TLMs and Mercs). Only because they aren't as common, it doesn't mean they cannot compete or Focus 5 is superior.

As I said earlier, its a pure attack bot. Yeti can do just as much damagewith regular attack, and has a non-power related special.

I was a IA user, and like I said, it's too easy. But

I guess if you like easy wins and no variety, then Omega 5 focus IA world is perfect for you....

BM support:

Deadly aim, intimidate, energy shield, reflex boost, and oncreased crits for plasma cannon (lvl 1 for backup kills).

your damage/defence will look about liek this.

10-12 +36 (energy)
10-12 +35 <9> (physical)
17-21 +39 (energy)
Robot: No idea.

Defence: 8-10 + 10
Resistance: 18-24

And the rest on hp.

Plasma Cannon needs Tech, just so you know. Even if you wait for it with Rage, it'll be low damage. And I'm unsure if Support stacks with Bunker/Cannon or if it's just flat 25% regardless of your Support.

Support BM is just Intimidate + Shields. Intimidate is a defensive debuff. It won't work. With low defences, why are you investing in Shields? Quite a waste. I can get similar damage output with much better defences. And high HP is bad if you're facing someone with BL because they'll get even more HP back (thanks to low defences).

Shields = people the rely on malf / smoke for damage.

As i said, plasma cannon as a finishing attack.

Deadly aim is so you have another attack.

Plus you have high health so it will take a bit for them to kill you even with low defences.

You don't know much about BloodMages I assume...
Stats above would let you be able to use a lvl 3 Plasma Cannon of 37 - 43
And if you were able to crank up the Plasma Cannon, stats need to be taken from health to put on Dex
which ends up with enough energy to do 2 lvl 9 Plasma Cannons IF they don't EMP/Assimilate/Atom Smash you...

The IA is so OP in can one hit you on the first turn OMG when I was facing my buddy Jamal he facerolled me all the way to heaven and back to Australia even though i don't live there and probably wont go but kangorros are pretty cutre right but they smell like magos.
