And do all classes have EMP? I think not only hunters have that and if you aren't a hunter then what? With the crazy block rate atom smasher and Assimilate aren't a grantee counter, plus even if you can pull these off if the drain isn't strong enough they can still get you.

But on another note ever try a focus build at low levels? Cause if you do you will 9/10 get you butt kicked by the same builds you want buffed. I was using a focus build at low levels, and I am getting owned mostly but support merc's support BH, and every build you are saying that is weak or didn't you look at lower levels?

Sure focus works at higher levels with moderate damage and good bot damage, however at lower levels it is garbage.

And these are nowhere near as strong as EMP. My point was that he was thinking of counters for hunters and not all classes.

Not all classes have malf. And if something was a guarentee counter then everyone would use it or focus. Nothing is a guarentee counter, its always chance.

If there was a guarantee counter to focus, then it will create a chain reaction that keeps getting worse and worse. The best way is to learn how to defeat them and quit complaining about focus. I lost to focus builds myself, and I've won focus builds.

really? is focus that op. well whoever thinks focus is too much op, why doesnt he post a focus build for each class which he thinks is op.
ask a focus build (without azarel's will/torment) and he'll tell you how difficult it is to deal with all the builds out there and i'm sure his win ratio must be nearly same as that of other good builds.

well, imo its not focus which is op, just that a focus build(as has been stated a few times) is a balanced build. most of the time most people want a balanced life and it reflects in the choices they make, be it games or whatever. however at times for fun / change sake they may give eccentric ( read stat abuse) builds a try. and i dont understand why should there be a penalty ( as some have asked for 5 focus builds) for using 5 focus build. the only advantage this build gives is +30 bot damage. and you will see various builds with just 45 into 2 stats and rest into other 2. this build is stil focus but if its op its cos of the 2 stats which are abused and not the stats which jus had 45 points.

aint ch sup mass op?
aint tlm tech surgical infernal android op?
aint bm str or high def/res (25-30) with maxed DA op?
aint caster tm with assimilation op?
