EpicIsEpic -> Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 14:34:17)

Why (and yes many people won't support because it has been requested before and failed)
I just wanted to bring this up again because it felt wierd.

Assult bot special: Reduces 65% of all debuff effects on a target (doesn't do damage to opponents)

Azreal's brogs special: Reduces 65% of all buff effects on an enemy (does damage to opponent)

Azreal's annihilator: An attack that does 85% of the initial damage and reduces 65% of all the target's buff effects.

So assult bot just reduces debuff by 65% and doesn't do damage or heal you. But Azreal's brog and Azreal's annihilator do damage
even tho the Azreal's brog and Azreal's annihilator are promo only weapons but free to play players were thoght to be SAME in omega.

So my suggestion is to rase the special ability for assult bot from 65% to around 70-75%.
And once again i know most of you won't support but you have to hear me out because it does feel kind of unfair that they practically get a free hit.

Ranloth -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 14:44:14)

No. You're comparing a Bot to the Aux. Reducing effect from the Aux is once per battle, Assault/Azrael Bot is not.

EpicIsEpic -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 14:46:58)

OK my bad sorry but it doesn't change the point for the robots. And in most fight it isn't needed for second time because of the low hp.

Ranloth -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 14:50:34)

That's not the problem with the items but the length of the battle. Two separate things. Also I beg to differ since I easily use my Intimidate twice on my BM, in 1v1 and 2v2 alike. If I had more EP, who knows.

EpicIsEpic -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 14:53:30)

@trans just because they have aux DOESN'T mean they couldn't have a robot. And if instead of using robot you use aux then you get 85% damage for practically free.

Ranloth -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 14:56:25)

I didn't say that either. You pointed out that battle doesn't last enough hence why double use of the Robot rarely happens (which sets it at a disadvantage compared to the Aux). But Aux core is 85% damage and once per battle, whilst Bot is no damage but multiple times. One is Aux core and other is Bot core. They aren't balanced in the same way. In the same way, Azrael Bot's damage should go up since it doesn't match that of the Aux BUT Assault Bot deals no damage so we should give it higher % for no reason <- that is wrong because people use things for abilities too, not necessarily for damage so they'd have an advantage.

Mother1 -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 15:08:28)

Not supported. The Assault bot was nerfed because it was too useful and made debuffs almost worthless. Plus if you buff the Assault bot then the Azreal's borg would have to get the same buff since these bots are also counters to each other.

sky222 -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 15:19:49)

^But azreal does damage

Ranloth -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 15:20:39)

Three..

Mother1 -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 15:28:16)

@ trans

It actually does 60% damage not 3 fixed. Depending on defenses or if you crit you can score more then 3 damage.

@Sky222

They are still counters to one another. They both work with stats effects just the opposite ones in other words 2 halfs of the same coin.

sky222 -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 15:34:29)

So..azreal bot is stronger for no apparent reason?

Ranloth -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 15:35:45)

Promo. It may not directly grant power but unique effect perhaps. Just like all items should be equal and evolved Yetis are stronger - additional effort/Varium was required and well.. evolution is self explanatory.

Exploding Penguin -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 18:34:19)

I always wondered about why heart attack was vast amounts stronger than cleanse. I would really like to see cleanse get buffed by an extra 5-10% because right now, it's only useful in 2v2 when someone is double-debuffed.

Mother1 -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/1/2013 20:08:23)

@ Op

The only reason Azreal's borg does damage is because it is striking the opponent where as the Assault bot does attack anyone when using the effect. However they are equal in the amount of what they remove.

@ exploding

buffing this bot without buffing it's counterpart would be weakening a counter since Assault bot and Azreal's borg in a situation counter each other.

RageSoul -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/2/2013 2:46:17)

Assault Bot - weakens current debuffs by % ; self/ally use ; deals no damage ( to enemy OFC ) ( 12 Damage )

Azrael's Borg - deals some damage but weakens a buff/shield by % , therefore it gives Rage ; unblockable ( 13 Damage )

Well that sorts it out , so yeah both versions of Assault Bot really need a buff on their Cleanse/Purify .

EpicIsEpic -> RE: Bring back the old assult bot or increase debuff (4/2/2013 4:02:13)

@mother1
You said that:
buffing this bot without buffing it's counterpart would be weakening a counter since Assault bot and Azreal's borg in a situation counter each other.
For example: you malf me(-50) i use technician (+50) then you use your Azrael's Borg and deal damage and when i use my assult bot i don't do damage. So we took off the same amount of tech in this case.
But you did a 60% robot damage and gained a bit of rage! That is what made me start this post.
And this clearly shows that the assault bot needs a buff!
