Since not using focus puts you at a competitive disadvantage, how about making it so that if you use a 4+ focus build, your wins are not counted.

This includes leaderboards etc.

Why does focus put you at a competitive advantage?

It can't be countered. It has 0 counters.


Every other build has a counter but focus.

I am amazed at how the balance team overlooked this...

How about no? Let's make everyone who aren't focus get an automatic lose, but if they manage to win somehow then it'll be counted as a loss.

I can agree with +5 dmg per focus lvl, but no wins?
Come on, Str mercs were way worse at the start of omega and i didnt hear you then..

How desperate are you to keep going on about Focus builds? This suggestion out of all of yours is the worst one I've seen yet.

Rab. said he'll do something, but continuing on about 5 focus isn't gonna help you much.

The disadvantage of Focus builds is their advantage which sounds weird, but they have medium attack ability and medium defense ability, the reason why bots are part of their main attack bonus is because of the little bit of power they give.

We might as well give them 0 attack power and let the bots do the attacking for the rest of the battle with a 99 cooldown on skills.

So having moderate attack power on everything instead of having extreme power in certain area's isn't a disadvantage? You may not believe it but that is the disadvantage of a focus build yet you and many other focus haters can't see that. you give up power for flexibility all focus builds do that since their stats are spread out among 4 stats.

Also not counting the wins that they earned because they are focus 4-5 not supported in the least. any build used works just as hard to earn win in every battle yet you want to remove wins off of focus 4-5 builds. How about we make it so at the lower level that anyone using an extreme spam stat build not get wins as well?

To back up, Mother1's statement, I just built myself a personal support abuser mercenary yesterday who relies on stunning and my aux with the artillery skill. I beat down so many Focus users that it took 2-3 turns. As a focus user BM, I can say that my defense can easily be overrun by tech and dex abuser TM's due to the amount of the damage they can deal in 2 turns even the minimal population of strength abusers can give me a run of a challenge.

Focus builders may look like they have an advantage, but truth be told, they have a disadvantage and that is the balance of stats that they use in pvp.

Stop complaining about Focus users and play the game.

Ansh0, you are the only player that I've seen on the forums that constantly makes complaints about Focus users and yet there is no stopping point to your complaints. I'm sorry to say, but you literally need to drop the complaints.

seriously ansh0 i thought you were better than that, will you quit with this 5 focus nerfing rampage? not all classes are powerful with 5 focus, only classes like BH and TLM gets most out of it, people shouldn't be penalized because they chose to have balanced stats instead of spamming a stat, try to figure out a build to beat them or become them, what's so bad about having lots of freedom and options with 5 focus builds? they are more fun to play with than any other builds.

No.

Why punish 5 focus users? If you can't beat a focus user, have you ever considered another strategy instead? While Focus maybe strong then as Mother1 stated, they sacrifice power in a specific stats to be focus users.

First, this will never happen. Players shouldn't have their wins count/not count based on their builds.

Second, this should have been posted in ED Suggestions instead as this suggestion actually had nothing to do with current balance, but a feature.
