Have something similar to the leaderboard system, but more individual based such as:
When each player plays ranked matches, their win/loss and skill based gets rated in an order of: - Bronze - Silver - Gold - Platinum etc
This would determine the skill level of all players and help with future matchmaking.

Players will never want to face harder opponents based on their evaluated skill, because this would hurt their win ratios.

this would be good for players who like challenges and stuff, if win/losses didn't count.
players wont want to face players who are equally as skilled (or lucky) every single match.

Maybe make the ranks something like this?
Bronze: 50% cumulative win rate or less Silver: 60% Gold: 75% Platinum: 90%
Aside from the ranking of win quantity, this could be applied to it as well. For example, if I have 15000 wins and a cumulative 76% win rate, instead of me being called a Commander, I'd be called a Gold Commander.

Bronze: 65% Silver: 70% Gold: 75% Platinum: 80%
90% sounds unrealistic now without NPCs + the current balance. (if its delta balance, i could do 90% without npcs. but this is omega balance, and theres less skill and more luck involved now than before)
and we shouldn't be rewarding players for being mediocre (50%)
