This isn't to complain about 5 focus or what not. This is about bounty hunters having an amazing skill tree and synergy. For starters smokescreen and shadow arts. It increases your block chance while decreasing theirs and allowing you to hit a lot harder. Stacked with bloodlust your already at an advantage.

With technology it increases smokescreen and EMP. Now you already have a tank build that hits hard and has high block chance with an unblockable mana steal and health regen. While having stun and multi which both increase with dexterity and stun stacks with smokescreen with a chance to stun.

It also has ability for 2 shields. A class that has high defense, stat debuff with health regen and high bot damage if you choose for a high tech build which is quite popular currently. This also couples with your emp which is unblockable and takes very high amounts of mana.

The synergy with all of this is baffling and is why bounty hunters have been one of the strongest classes for quite some time. I don't know how to change it as I'm not very creative but I would really like to see some change. It's just too powerful in all game modes. Suggest ideas if you support this... If not say so!

Maybe Smoke improving by Support could do? Whilst Dex provides synergy with Stun and Multi, it does cost quite a good chunk of EP to use thus potent to EP drainers and not so good damage at all times.

Whilst Support only has 2 shields so it wouldn't be that bad. SA has Support requirement so it wouldn't be that much of a problem either for BHs & the Smoke would be weaker; unless they get as high Support as they have Tech currently.

It'd be just as Malf, really. Malf wouldn't be able to debuff Smoke at last too.

That would help a lot because then it would subtract their defense and bot damage if they wanted to go for a support build!

And give a bit more viable Support build at the same time (Smoke + Shields + Aux combo), not as bad as Mercs have -> and deflections improve with Technology whilst Smoke reduces Dexterity so it'd be fine.

Basically, they'd take away less Dex than they do now and not have such good synergy. This would fix SA + Smoke combo as well, at least partially; it wouldn't be as bad. In addition, it'd allow to avoid any unnecessary nerfs to skills. So yeah, simple change could fix a lot actually.

Yeah changing that one thing could allow more build creativity and change their blocks and deflects since their tech will change a bit. Instead of needing everything just nerf that one move and it would fix quite a bit!

Oh yeah, forgot high Tech contributes towards deflections for them too. Yeah, changing it to Support would be sufficient enough. At least initially, and then more could be changed *if* needed.

I for one am hesitant on giving Smokescreen over to support, mainly because I've seen how powerful Support Hunters were during their peak. You would also be giving them more offense to go with their good defenses. E. Shield is amazing and Reflex Boost helps with blocking a lot, especially when combined with Shadow Arts and Smokescreen.

There's always the option of changing energy shield to improve with something other than support, such as technology...

Moooose stole the words right out of my mouth... I honestly dont think it would work.. And like exploding said Energy shield would have to be changed to improve with something else Like technology.
I can imagine it already support build... bounty hunter...

Try to divide up the skills by the stats which they improve by if balance is on your mind. 3 on Strength, 3 on Dexterity, and so on... if possible.
