Item Stats:
1. All items get 4 more stats.
-In total, you get 16 more stats.
2. Robots have 8 stats to work with. Has a +4 MAX per stat restriction.
-Amount does not increase.

Level Up Stats:
1. A "Level Up" gives you +5 Stat Points and +1 Skill Point (instead of +4 skill pts and +1 skill pt)

Total Stats Increased: (4*4)+4+(Lvl-1)

As a Lvl 35 player with a Robot, you get 54 more Stats. (16+4+34)

Here, you get 170 Stats (35-1*5) from Leveling up and 87 Weapon Modifier Stats(24+22+22+19)

Before, (lvl 35) players have 207 (136+71). After, players have 257, giving a total of 50 more stats to work with.

Drangonslayer -> RE: Level & Item Stats (4/13/2013 1:06:48)

So whats the max someone can invest into a single stat? to lazy to do math xD

kittycat -> RE: Level & Item Stats (4/13/2013 16:46:46)

Are you suggesting Tech Mages to be more overpowered, Support Builds to inflict more critical hits, Tank builds more tankier, etc.? because if you give the class like 50 extra stats, then everyone would be have more ability to have high HP, satisfy focus, and also specialize at one stat at the same time.

Dual Thrusters -> RE: Level & Item Stats (4/13/2013 16:48:59)

@Kitty

and it would provide build diversity.

remember not only does your opponent have +35 stats, but so do you if this were to happen

SylvanElf -> RE: Level & Item Stats (4/13/2013 18:03:58)

I support this idea.

The Hidden Legend -> RE: Level & Item Stats (4/14/2013 1:02:14)

I also support. With more health ans stats luck will play a slightly lesser role in fights.

Goony -> RE: Level & Item Stats (4/14/2013 1:13:02)

This would just return stat inflation issues, the current system is fine in my opinion. What is the balance issue that you are concerned with that would justify this change? Seems to be more of a suggestion than a balance issue!

theholyfighter -> RE: Level & Item Stats (4/14/2013 6:12:20)

Build Variety. With so less stats to work with there's no chance to have a "hybrid" build. All I see is pure str, pure support, pure focus, pure caster......AND with a lot less health.

ansh0 -> RE: Level & Item Stats (4/14/2013 6:30:55)

Goony, the problem is diversity.

A PvP battle now is exactly like an NPC battle. Same build, same strategy. Just way too hard.

I honestly prefer Delta's Balance.

EpicIsEpic -> RE: Level & Item Stats (4/14/2013 11:36:57)

I would love this implimented because more builds, interesting situations even if it is back to abusers witch doesn't seem to happen because of dimishing instead of 99% chance to fight foucus/support merc( if lover lvl )
Boring.
As most players would describe it and there would be a way more builds, i never understood why did they take away the extra statas and added luck instead of the other way around.
SUPPORTED!

The Hidden Legend -> RE: Level & Item Stats (4/14/2013 11:46:17)

If this is a strategy came shouldn't there be less luck and more skill/strategy and wouldn't more stats help with that?

Goony -> RE: Level & Item Stats (4/14/2013 12:16:45)

I can't see how this would create more diversity or variety, all it means is that 5 focus BH, CH and TIM will have more stats to pump up their tech with thus creating higher damage and defences... More stats won't equate to more builds!
The reason enhancements were removed was because going forward (read adding levels) the enhancements were becoming detrimental to balance as levels were added. Now you want to bring the extra stats back... Hmm!

There is relatively little build variation at the moment because strength and support based builds were effected by the changes to progressions and melee based skills. Now 5 focus builds offer the greatest overall damage per statistic. Simply adding more statistics is not going to change the 5 focus domination because the progressions and skills will still be the same.
