The main reason I am is because of how every time I try working on Chapter 6 I have an incredibly difficult time with doing anything with it. I originally planned for the character introduced to be based off of a close friend but with some of the stuff he has gone through recently it kinda feels wrong, and considering I have yet to even talk to him since I made that plan has thrown a bit of a wrench in that plan too. It's been a month since I could even get a word down on the document I have it saved to, and at this rate it will be like that for longer yet( I normally could work on two or more stories at once with little issue). Another is exactly as I said in my last post, I feel I could write it better with several changes that would go along better with the stuff I know now and with some of the changes made to the original plans I had for this one. I want to try harder to make this more than just a little hobby project that never gets beyond the planning stages, that actually goes somewhere and does not end in either a badly done cliffhanger or after a string of overall bad writing. That is why I want to do more than just rewrite my story, the larger premise is okay as it is but the premise of my early chapters needs to change if I can be happy with it. I am sorry if it seems rude, but I felt like I needed to explain why I felt like rebooting my story. It just is not good enough to for me to continue on with it when I feel it is inadequate.
