I mean, obviously, if a valid prize is given for being at the top, if you guys don't step up your game, I'll be taking that spot. I'm lazy till the point things matter. :P

Hmm. How about the possibility of having an NPC or something for being at the top of some certain leaderboard (bi-monthly, monthly etc.?). I can see issues with that, but it's also one potential 'thing'.

Keep in mind that this is just a test to work out the kinks, so the all time wins will be wiped clean when a new leaderboard is opened.

I'd be okay with that. If being at the Top 3 is a more viable gold farming than doing PvE, it should be cool.

Besides, if you could get more gold from being in top of the LB it would give people more reasons to PvP! Or maybe there could be achievements?

So, in other words, all the past PvP battle record in the leaderboard testing will be wipe. Anyway, about the reward for the PvP leaders, I just wish for nothing except being well-known by many players but it will be troublesome to be famous because i believe players will demand a match against top/fame players.

Jop: If you are going to do an analogy, you may as well over-do it. I do that very often.
But then again, wouldn't competing in a game be something relatively "waste of time" to begin with? This coming from the guy that spent 3 months, at least 10 hours a day optimizing the smallest thing in a 7 minute game. That, if something, was a waste of time. Yet, I wouldn't change a minute. .-.

Mega: Not WILL, MIGHT. There's a big difference. Might implies it may or may not happen. Will implies it, well, will happen.

But I doubt you'd need to worry about people wanting matches against you. I don't think anyone has challenged me despite my supposed fame. :P And really, nothing stops you from just declining. (Also, why on EARTH would you want to be known)

I wouldn't do duel with just someone random asking that. I'd most likely tell them to find me via PvP button. (I liked how someone wanted a rematch one day, and as soon as I agreed, we met via the Battle button ANYWAYS) I have an actual reason for this too: It randomizes which player goes first.

I don't think I'm ever going to get to number 1 on the leader board all I plan on trying to do is try to stay in the top ten/five

Well who wouldn't want a statue of theire favorit character and theire name in the lobby? :p

If you want to be No 1 on the LB it will requires ALOT of playing, at least if those aiming to be no 1 is just as hardcore as those in ED.

Given the fact it's currently a hourly LB and not a daily one it should be possible + there is no real reasons to bother PvP right now as all you get is 1st place for a little while.. But if there is somekind of reward, I'm sure ALOT of players would aim for 1st place.

Well, there is a reason why I want to be well-known by players if i don't have a reason? [8|] My actual plan on wanting to try to aim to be top 20 in Leaderboard and be recognise by many players is because I want to part of OS team and be known by every OS players and the team especially Nulgath and possibly even Artix if he does check out the PvP leaders and the OS releases. I know it sound quite stupid to some of you but I want to do things which i wanted to.

The only reasons to why I would get on 1st place would be if there was a reward I liked, maybe a special Artifact? Or just some extra Gold. Or an Orc! WE NEED MOAR ORC!!!! *wonders when the next Orc will be released*

I guess every players who participated in the leaderboard should be rewarded despite their number of wins so long as they participate with pride. Its not really easy to be top 1 unless you PvP everyday until the leaderboard end without rest. That is what hardcore players would do.

Who said that? Is it just your imagination? I personally don't like top 1 player receiving something special which every other players won't receive. I guess to make this fair, 30 SG reward and 500K 50K Gold to top 1, 20 SG and 400K 40K gold to top 2, 10 SG and 300K 30K gold top 3, 5 SG and 100K10K gold to every other top players. Also, a special character reward to everyone that participate the leaderboard. What you guys think?
