Pretty much every RP has drama, but most of them are geared more specifically to action/adventure. Combat plays a major role in them.

Well as of lately I've been watching Spartacus (finished watching War of the Damned, now going back and watching Season 1 and 2 which I've missed). While it is an action/adventure show, it has a lot of drama in it. This interested me in doing a dramatic roleplay, with common characters who all have problems and intertwining storylines who must work together to overcome their struggles. Then I thought of each character having 'special abilities', and also being able to hire an Assassin to take out their rivals.

So each role has different problems and the only way to solve them is to work with/against other players. You can hire Assassins, who will attempt to kill other players (but can warded off if the target guess correctly, and also revealing the one who ordered the hit). You each have one special ability, such as the Legatus, whose elite guard allow him to guess up to three names so he is harder to assassinate; of the Senator, who can alter rules and regulations within the city.

How dramatic are we talking, on a scale of A Doll's House to Lost?

I have an issue with the special powers, but I can't think of an acceptable solution or alternative. It is driving me nuts!

What is wrong with the special powers Starstruck?

Just 'dramatic' as in the daily struggles of different people and how they interplay with each other.
