To add, .fla files are usually exported in .swf format. In Flash Professional, you export your .fla file as a .swf file by pressing Ctrl + Enter. Personally, I use Webs.com. It is a website hosting site, but in order to allow full customization of your website, you can upload every file type to your site, and have a short, permanent link to it. Yet, as Arthur said above, if you just need to show the art, and not to share the file itself, you should export it as an image (.jpg, .gif, etc.) or as an animation (.swf) I upload there both .swf and .fla files. Hope that I helped a bit as well.
