OK, so, I'm lvl 30. Is it just me, or do you guys also meet lvl 35's so many times???? Just now, I met lvl 35's like 9 times in a row.... Do you guys also think that the lvl range of ppl you battle should become smaller? Like +3 lvls?

Balance-wise, yes it would be okay to minimize the level-difference during PvP but it would slow down finding a battle by a certain span.

As for me, a person who just made a new account this May and is now lvl 29, I have never faced anyone 5 levels higher. The highest difference is always 4 for me.

I have just recently returned from Epic Duel after a 2-year long break and I assumed they did decrease the difference to just 4 level.

..until now, due to your post. Crap, I'm scared when I level up to 30, I'm already half way there :((

I remember hitting level 30 as a non varium mercenary in Delta. Truly a horrifying experience. I thought they lowered it? If so make it at least 3 levels not 5.

I never liked the 5 lvl difference. It always were unfair when a player with 5 lvls lower fight a one 5 lvls higher then him
Always these fights were unbalanced, ( higher stat points higher upgraded weaps. ) even if the 5 lvl lower starts first thats nothing due to these advantages. In low lvls in 1vs1 it depends * how lucky you are * with lvl ranges.

At least it's not as bad as before Omega. Stats on weapons really inflated after level 30.

Lowering it by, for example, 3 levels wouldn't do anything. You'd still face the horrors of the large mass of level 35 players who are waiting for the next level cap to come out when you reach level 32. Really, the only way to keep it "fair" is to reduce it to +/- 1, but then it'd take too long to find fights.

I know what you mean. I'm using on my alt, a supposedly overpowered bounty hunter build, but am level 32 getting creamed by 34's and 35's. -_-

Even being one level up from 32 (I'm level 33), I get creamed a lot too by level 34s-35s only for the fact that he/she had more stats to invest in his/her build than mine.

Well just because its Omega it doesn't mean everyone has an advantage now. Some Heroes are still getting pummeled by Emperors due to their long experience in Epicduel. Also if they made a better build than you, you don't stand a chance :P. Well there is that luck factor.......

OK, So... I am against having lvl 30's meet lvl 35's so many times... but I am more against how we meet the SAME lvl 35 two times in a row... Some lvl 35's I can actually win, so i might win like 1/7 lvl 35's, but then every single time... It is the same lvl 35... I think there should be this function where two people cannot battle each other continuously for two or more times. Plus, I always meet somebody 5 lvls higher than me, yet I never... EVER... meet somebody 5 lvls below me... And then this Random lvl 35 battles somebody 5 lvls below them (ME), for TWO CONTINUOUS times. I hope they do something about this.

Already a work-around for that.
Wait 5 seconds to start a new battle instead of clicking immediatly after battle, simple as.

And i dont see the problem in this, everyone had to deal with it, it has became a part of this game, deal with it like everyone else did.
Be happy that you didnt experience this fase back in Delta, you would get owned more then you do now..

I suggested something simular like this BUT now i finally leveled up to 35 and i am doing 150 wins mission I like instawinning again low levels ;D.
I know it is unfair BUT please don't change it i want my insta wins to stay!

Question for level 35 players: Would you prefer a system that initially attempted to only match you with other level 35 players, and expanded the search to lower levels after a small amount of time (5ish seconds)? In other words, matches might take *slightly* longer to find, but on average would be more fair for everyone near the level cap.

EDIT: There is also already a system that prevents you from fighting the same person more than a few times in a given amount of time. Pretty sure it's per hour, but not 100% sure without looking it up.

I would be all of this idea if it didn't actually affect wait times for matches but with the way waits are for some matches and the smaller part of the server being higher levels I would have to say no. Especially if you can't get to a server with a lot of people.

My alts Reach lv 30 or 31 and stay here because its impossible win matches only win 2/10 times agaisnt lv 35, for me its better if you decrease the level cap by 2 or 3, in lv 32 and 33 you can had more chances to defeat a level 35 than in level 30.

I don't mind waiting an extra 5 seconds at all. Plus I love actually facing people who can actually give me a challenge, so I'd say that's a great idea rabble. Fully supported.

I'm level 31 but I'm sure that I speak on behalf of my fellow players, yes I would appreciate this to happen, I held back on 1v1 until I reach level 35 so that way I can can actually win in 2v2, which I'm getting really fed up about

if you play over 10000 2vs2 battle you probably agreed with me( lol and no is not sarcasm) level 35 battle are usually faster cuz we do a lot damage,personally i wouln't mine waiting a MINUTE or TWO .there is a lot noobs on 2vs2 but they don't come close to level 33 and down, it would really make a lot players happy specially ALL TIMERS is really frustrating getting lower level

I'd love waiting a bit longer and get fair match up. I could've done the Egg Hunt on my 3 alts who are between Lvl 28-30 but having to face Lvl 33-35 players most of the time made it impossible. Whilst when I've encountered people up to 2 levels above me, I could still have a chance.

Actually I have been in over 10K 2 vs 2 battles but I don't agree with you about 2 vs 2 matches being faster for us. If they were wouldn't higher level player be dominating the LB's instead of the lower level players I always see? In fact not to long ago I saw a thread asking was this becoming a lower level game because of this.

I also experienced long waits for 1 match in 2 vs 2 sometimes 2-3 minutes (which is a long time to wait) only to get thrown in a match with lower level players. While I do find that frustrating at times I am also thankful that I get the match period.

But at the same time just because a player is a lower level doesn't mean they are a noob or at a disadvantage. Remember build counts for something as well in 2 vs 2, and while a player may be a lower level he could have a build advantage over the higher levels. This happens quite often and because of this at time I am able to win even when I am at a level disadvantage and I know you can also agree with me on that as well.

My point being while I can support rabble's suggestion of making us wait 5 seconds before they pull in lower levels, I don't support axing out lower levels completely because people believe they are totally underpowered which isn't the case.
