If you've noticed, vendbot no longer sells energy or health boosters. I've been thinking about a character having their own cores in them instead of just replacing ones from their gear. This can add some diversity to every player but shouldn't be a power type or luck based to prevent quick kill builds from rising.

It's simply having 2 main cores for your character. It's different than the cores being released but I doubt this gets implemented as ED doesn't even have enough cores.

So they can be equipped without other equipment and works just like active and passive skills except they don't have a lvl scaling and requirements right?

^Exactly. They can be equipped even when you don't have equipment hence they are called character cores not skill cores. I'm suggesting the cores to be mostly passive and NOT luck based. It would be great if there are active cores but most of them end up being offensive ones and not for tactical purposes.
