I just am at a loss for words. I am a firm supporter of the game and respect everyone involved in the creative processes, balance updates, bug fixes, you name it. Perhaps it is because of this respect that I feel the desire, the need, to talk about the failure to fix the impact luck has on this game. Epicduel is a game based on strategy, but strategy can only have so much impact when lucky factors occur so frequently. The autonomy of the game is devolving from strategic to luck-based. I find myself constantly thinking, "well, if i get deflected here i lose/if i get blocked here i lose/etc", and not nearly as often "i wonder how i should counter my opponent's attack." We can see that the creators recognize luck as an issue from the implementation of the recently released lucky-factor-reducing cores, but I, along with many others, am looking for the solution. Why is the doctor giving a band aid to seal the gaping wound that can only be fixed by stitches? -The longer is waited to solve the problem the more blood loss (and player loss).

Rabble has already said he's working on minimising the impact of luck on the battle, which means deflections and blocks. Players moan how releases aren't tested enough and go live yet when they need time to push big changes, players say "No balance fixes this week! Lazy team!", so why should they release weekly balance patch if it's a band-aid? They need time to take care of the problem efficiently, just as they changed blocks a little (this isn't the final change to them). But players want everything ASAP and then moan how it's not being tested enough.

I'm not moaning about wanting weekly balance updates, there being untested releases, or how everything needs to happen asap. I'm just asking if there is even a plan to fix the problem itself. Would you mind linking me to where Rabble said this?
