Instead of it increasing your defense and resistance, how about it reduces incoming damage by 25%? I feel that the special is only useful for stalling, and that the extra defense and resistance is not enough. It should subtract 25% of the total damage plus any type of modifications to it(such as rage).

The special only adds to your defense, and not by much. It can be completely useless if used to nullify rage. If you change it to the way I stated, it would be far more deadly and more people will buy your promo.

We need more percentage based reductions in the game, so this is definitely a good idea.

Exactly. All of these skills that are a set amount and don't increase with anything will just be useless later on. Poison for example. When we hit lvl 50, people will probably have around 150(made up number) hp. 10ish damage won't nearly be enough to effectively damage that. Yet, percentages can deal the same number of damage as now, but making it better as the level cap increases. Plus, it will balance out the lower level fights.

In my opinion, the armor itself isn't that great compared to generator...which still remains the supreme core except on select builds. I would support this, but hopefully the devs make the effect longer because spending an entire turn for a 2-turn buff really isn't worth it at all.
