My guess is that it will put limitations on your deck like the Yu-Gi-Oh video games have done before till you ascend a rank as that character. Like you can only have *blank* number of charge cards in your deck.

I know every special card will have limits and my prediction on special cards like Poison will be a count of 3, Freeze will most likely be 1, and energy boosters like Neutralize will also probably 1. Iron Hide might get a limit of 2 only for the means of balance though.

@bunker not really, the the rank ratio isn't that high,averaging two for each element isn't that bad.

@TheSage: I believe you are testing cards and not CC. Unless you are testing CC, I thought the staff did that.-.

@Bunker: Apparently ranks have little meaning because cards are being available to all characters disregarding the ranks.

Ahh well, I dunno. They could extend the bar and have Winter Goddess (or whatever) be a 500SG reward, etc. Certain people would love it if BD and the Reaper went rare though...

Shouldn't promo characters be an exception? They want some quick revenues right? Then it would be the smart thing to do if they made the promos go rare. It isn't what your paying for (technically) it is the SGs so why should it matter right?

The Paladin in the Holy Strike card looks like it's been modeled Artix (BLoD). It would be interesting if he was the legendary version of Paladin though!

Actually from the first video we ever saw of Oversoul it was Nulgath as his fiend character verses Artix as the "light warrior" which is the character on Holy Strike.

@insane nein, the artix armor is the same as OS paladins.

the holy strike characters armor looks more like classic AE paladin.

If that is in fact the paladin Legendary, then I can't even fathom the raw awesomeness of the rest of the starters!

Let us be honest, the starters in AQW have been treated so poorly and often classified as 'noob' classes. I for one think the starters in this game should be powerful and highly admired. They are the ones that helped us begin our journey in OS.

Aw man, I just evolved Void Incarnate[male] and he is awesome even though a spear was the only thing changed about him. [:D]

That is what I'm laughing at really Mondez is that the only thing that changes about the male shadow void is that he gains the spear. Don't get me wrong, it's a cool spear and I even have it in AQW. But is it and it's cards really worth the 10 SGs to obtain such a minor thing. All it really does is change his animations so he's like the spear characters already in the game.

Edit: Also one more thing, I only thing 10 SGs should be used as an evolution if it changes the characters overall, I mean look at Headless Hollow...He becomes his much more powerful form, and gains really slick and awesome animations. Then you have Sprout which evolves into pumpkinlord which looks completely different and has different animations.

I agree that the only redeeming factors about him is his deck in which is really no different from Blood Ranger except he is a little bit defensive with his 2 shields and VR. I hope his Legendary is free if he gets one because 10 SGs was a little bit off the top.

Edit: Agreed again because if the only change was a spear and his animation really doesn't change much so overall in my opinion he should have costed 6 SGs.
