@king the problem is these bosses will stop being challenging at some point, and then we're back to square one. i suggested before that bosses (and some NPCs) should have their difficulty based on the player's level. so a boss like G.Lowe will be just as difficult at lvl 15 like it is at lvl 35. (w/e that difficulty is) i also suggest having easy, intermediate, and hard core. like it is in mechquest. the hardcore ones could even give wins, influence, tokens, etc.
