Are games here (Inc ED especially) to have fun?

Or

Are games here to make it boring?


IMO games are here to have fun.

ED especially, wants the game to be perfect for balance and before they add any features.. They always check balance. ED was created to have fun with the game. But at the moment, the game is too boring for my liking.

Nothing is perfect. Why don't you just add features/ classes/more level ups into the game rather being bored to death with the game.
Forget about balance for the moment, you could fix that after it came out. Why doesn't ED want to have fun. It's just an old boring balanced game. That's the purpose of what a game is created for. Not to be bored to death, but to have fun.


What is your opinion about what a game is?

Definition of a game. One played according to rules and decided by skill, strength, or luck. Right now it's decided by the majority of luck but I know the balance team is taking the reigns on the situation and going to make it about skill again. :)

What I like of a game is the competition and in my opinion, even if battles are a bit redundant, in Omega competivity has been raised as ever before and I like it alot. I already made over 15000 wins in this phase and I m planning to do more.

A game is really anything that you play and usually not taken seriously (well there are the Hunger Games :P. It is also entertaining.

a game is a think to have fun with, but many players get realy mad when they lose in a game. for games i like those games which need good strategies ( i mean Strategical Games )

Others might not agree with that. Generally PvP games have a priority in PvP, even if they have some non-PvP elements. Whether PvP is actually good or not is pretty largely decided by balance. Thus, balance is the number one priority.

As much as I'd like to ignore the aspect of PvP as a whole, and instead focus something I enjoy much more, that being a STORY, I'm not expecting the story to be a priority when actual gameplay is lacking. Without balance, that tends to happen.
