Players who leave a battle before they've died should receive a 50% reduction in the credits and xp received in the next 2, as well as receiving no battle tokens for the first of those 2 battles. This is a small penalty compared to the damage they do to their partners chance of winning the battle and therefor to their partners record. I see no need to implement this system into the 1v1 battles as they are not betraying their partner and it will allow those having serious lag issues to avoid the penalty by doing 1v1.

This comes around so often... You simply cannot tell whether someone has left on purpose or has been disconnected.

If the system could tell the difference between a disconnect and a runner then I would support this. However since the system can't (even though we can tell the difference like night and day) I can't support this. many people would get unfairly penalized, and have a lost added to their record to boot.

Wait mother1 said an interesting thing.... I suggest that runners/disconnected persons partner chooses If he was a runner or not.

i already made this suggestion on a different thread to some decent feedback: if a player is inactive for a turn before quitting, or inactive for 3 turns of a battle or more, then they receive a minimal reduction in credits, tokens, and EXP (12 credits, 7 EXP, and a 1 token) the reverse of a 1v1 battle loss. not a huge penalty but a penalty nonetheless also player on the team of a quitter gains that players losses (you get an additional 12 EXP, 7 credits and token)

Also, you never know when disconnects will happen. Sometimes it's at the start... And if you're a runner, you don't get the EXP and Creds from that battle...Isn't that a penalty?
