The tournaments that epic duel did before was a tournament where 100 people can get it.
I'm talking about a tournament(s) where one person can win it.


This tournament has alot of players in the start, and then they compete till they drop down to only one.

Prizes for 1st player(s)
-An achievement maybe for winning there first ever tourney
-Alot of credits for beating alot of people
-At times, devs can put in new weapons for someone to win.

You will have to pay an amount of credits to get into the tourney and will match your skill level with other players. Once the tournament is set with x players, then the game can start, and each Epic Duelist compete. If you finish early and you are waiting, you wait on the tournaments page, till he/she finishes the match. The people that win go into the next stage and the 3rd and then the final tournament where 2 compete for the Epic prize!

It is a Pvp duel not a 2v2/jugg duel. Two players fight to get to the next stage. However if someone lags out in the middle of the match, then the person who didn't lag out goes to the next stage.

If you have played 8 ball pool, then you will know what I mean.
I think this would idea since alot of people love tournaments and love getting alot of credits and will bring more people back in the game to have tournaments with other people.

Since if the opponent got lucky, you immediatly got eliminated..

Just a question or two (or three):

  • Would these be sorted by level?
    - Let's say we have Lvl 20-only tournament and there are... 3,000 competing at that level. Surely it'd take a long time for all of them to fight (they have to be both logged in at the same time), thus making it a drag.
    - Or would be be Lvl 33-35 players together (small difference in power), therefore sorted in groups?

  • Would there be a limit to players joining in the tournament? With the above, it'd be good idea if the tournament is repeated at another date but with different reward (but to be equally worth, i.e. unique weapon).
    - Basically, first come first served. There has to be finite number of spaces in this kind of tournament.

  • Would... special conditions be set?
    - Such as: "both players cannot use their cores & passive cores do not grant you any bonus" - so this would be a battle without any special abilities from items. Just to spice it up.

    They would be sorted in groups of 15 players in each tournament.
    Too much players in 1 tourney is too much lag
    But also making the game longer if there was 100 players in 1 tourney

    If it is only a credit based tourney, then it would be an infinite amount (repeated). As I've said you would have to pay an amount to get into a tourney and the person tht wins last gets all the credits. say if 15 players payed 100 credits each (Can be less) then the player at the end 15*100=1500 thus giving him 1400 of profit.

    If it is an item based tourney, then it would be a finite amount where only x players can join the tourney for a while till that tourney is finished. Maybe the devs can do something like the first 45 (Lets say that with 3 tourneys going on) that register within this tourney (And has paid) has to come at this date. If they do not turn up, then it is there fault, losing some credits but also not joining in the tournament.

    But the good thing about it is only 3(Lets just say)!!!! People can only get this item which is very rare since not many people have it and cannot get it unless they do a prize code ^^.

    Sweet. So if your opponent doesn't turn up, they lose Credits fee + you get a win. (wouldn't make sense if both would lose... XD)

    If they join up and leave, then the one who left last would get into the next round. And abused in what way? By wasting your own Credits to pay the fee and then run? It's a duel and you go up as you win to face others who have won.

    What trans has said is very true.


    Look at the previous tourney for example?
    Look how many cheated to get onto the Lb just to win the golden yeti.
    And guess what?
    Devs decide to ban them for account sharing and dummying.
    About half of the people in the first bit of the LB cheated and all got banned. Most of them got kicked out of the 100s. Some got there account back with proofs.

    However if this does happen, in the tourney I'm talking about, the devs could ban them FOR life for not letting them not join in the tourney. After 3 warnings, the devs may decide you to not play this feature and will lock you from playing it. This will give 3 warnings to the person that has been leaving the tourney and the person dummying with it + you lose credits for joining in and then kicking yourself out for dummying.

    If you made another account, Leveled it up as a level 35 to dummy again, then obviously the dev can see if you were the person on that same IP address. If it is the same IP address, Both your account will be banned for exploiting dummying.

    Abused in a way such as teaming up and then letting your friend leave for free wins, but thanks to Hulk I didn't know they actually caught people cheating in the tournament.

    sounds like a fun way to spice it up.
    maybe some days have a higher cost of the tourny. like sundays or something. to give a bigger reward. thus more players wanting to sign up?
