King of Clubs -> A FAIR 2v2 Battle System (5/10/2013 4:40:59)

I have a few ideas on how to make 2v2 more fair for everyone involved.

- Leaving Early: Any player who leaves a 2v2 battle before dying should be given 0 battle tokens and only 50% of the normal creds/xp for their next 2 battles. Additionally, their partner should be given a 50% increase to their cred/xp reward as well double battle tokens for that round.

- Lacking Guns: Any player who enters a 2v2 battle without a gun should be considered to be 2 levels lower when finding the players for a 2v2 battle, players missing both guns would be considered to be 4 levels lower. This would accommodate for the reduced stats of the player and their reduced non-strike attack options.

- Missing Turns: Any player who misses a turn during a 2v2 battle should have their xp/cred rewards reduced by 10% for each turn missed, if they miss 3 or more turns in that battle they should recieve 0 battle tokens for the current and next battle. Additionally, their partner should receive a 10% boost to creds/xp for each turn missed by the other person on their team.

I feel that these changes would make the game more fair for the person whose record is potentially tarnished by an inconsiderate partner. I know some people may be forced to leave/miss turns due to a poor internet connection, but if this is the case, they should not be playing 2v2 in the first place as it isn't fair to their partners.

Not supported. So if I get disconnected because of server lag I should be made to suffer a loss of credits and no tokens? Would be fair if the system knew you were running but it can't tell the difference.

For the first part not supported. In case you haven't noticed people do skip turns on purpose for tactical reasons (such as stunning a juggernaut to take advantage of the stun, not attack so they won't trigger reroute Etc) so why should anyone who does it for this purpose (so they can win the duel or possibly win the duel) lose 10% of their rewards?

Definitely supported. I mean EpicDuel is not like League or something, so you should not be lagging at all. And a punishment for players who just disconnect from a fight is pretty reasonable.

@ spellzy

There have been many times I got booted due to lag from too many people being on said server. This has happened to a lot of people and the epic duel staff has mentioned in the past that they knew about the lag issues so people even with a good internet connection can still lag and get disconnected from it.

^^

What bout ranked matches?
If you get kicked you lose credits?
And it will be your fault for playing the ranked match
