kingpowerlord -> Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/10/2013 10:33:58)

With the end of the Arborgeddon saga approaching, it seems necessary to highlight the good and the bad of the saga.

Im sure that the team would appreciate the feedback we give to help them with the upcoming saga.

IMO this saga was one of the best so far incorporating a hunt and a boss fight. i do believe in my opinion that it was a bit short and not much going on but the plot of it was simple, creative and fun to play.

Please do not give feedback without backing your reason, for example dont say:

quote:

it was rubbish...

But try and back it so it improves our gameplay

Spellzy -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/10/2013 10:52:44)

I guess getting the spores is fun. I have gotten the Arbor Warrior and 100+ purified spores through many hours of hard work. The thing i am upset about is how strong Davarill is. For a Lv29, there is simply no way of beating it. No matter how hard you try, you just can't. Hope they can make it weaker or make the Arbor Annihilator available to players of lower level.

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/10/2013 11:53:14)

it was fun, lots of spores, rewards and items! :3 and davarril was too easy to defeat even after he critted me 4 times.

EpicIsEpic -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/10/2013 13:29:32)

i loved the poison bot because it was non-var

Xendran -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/10/2013 15:53:28)

It was fun but i would have preferred it to have a harder 2v1 boss instead of the 1v1 we had.
And perhaps allow the game to drop more than 1 spore at a time. Perhaps in 1v1 it could be a 15% chance to get 1 spore, 8% chance to get 2 spores. 2v2 it could be 35% to get 1 spore, 15% to get 2 spores.

Blizp -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/10/2013 16:29:23)

I kinda liked it, even though I had really bad luck with purified spores and I just finished getting all 100 (A little more bad luck and, depending on the time of the release, I could've been stuck at around 95 spores, which would've sucked a lot). But I was quite motivated and I finally managed to hit the level cap (took so many breaks that I never actually reached the level cap before, despite starting in beta). The boss fight was pretty easy, and I think the bike was a bit overpriced (as a semi-casual player, I consider spending 50k credits or 2k varium for a non-combat item too much). All in all, it was a good release.

Oba -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/10/2013 17:29:26)

Didnt enjoy it at all.

goldslayer1 -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/10/2013 17:46:17)

didn't bother playing it aside from fighting davarril just now (thanks blitzex for reminding me)
got a new cheevo. davarril was very easy.

Jekyll -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/10/2013 20:54:22)

Frankly, it fell short of expectations in some areas. Achievements and the battle system were undoubtedly good, but I certainly would have preferred more missions aside from the 10-spore-each missions. Something that would have got us running around Delta V beating NPCs would have been nice.

liy010 -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/10/2013 23:52:36)

It was rubbish...

2 weeks was all we had to get purified spores...I made it to 7...I had work to do...

:(

kosmo -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/11/2013 1:50:05)

I liked this saga alot.2 new bots, a new bike, rewards and cheevos.I only think they shuld have made more cheevos, one for lower amount of spores (20 maybe) and one for higher amount of spores too (150-200), I got 279 spores and after atmosphere was purified, I kinda feel like my effort is wasted since they can t even be sold :/

martinsen5 -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/11/2013 7:00:35)

I enjoyed the new achievements, but the fact I had to completely redo my build only to beat the boss kinda ruined the experience for me. I'd love to see a boss that can be beaten with many different builds, instead I had to change my tactics entirely, which cost me a lot of credits too, since I needed new cores (for energy steal) :/

Reki -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/11/2013 10:36:05)

Collecting spores was a good way to get people to participate and wasn't nearly as pain staking as past wars between legion and exile.
Davarril was a rather easy boss to beat which was sad since I expected strategy needed to beat him with his array of moves I had hoped he'd have.

As for the art side of it I was disappointed from the swords and sidearms to the bike and bots. Just unappealing designs that weren't any better than the easter release of items.
Hoping for more design wise by the staff in the coming releases but seems like things have been improving a bit with the new type of wars and constant balance fixes.

I'd give it a 6/10.

sleddyboy3 -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/11/2013 13:10:23)

I didn't like it very much. Collecting spores was just an exact repeat of the Epic Egg Hunt. Davarril was waaaay too easy. I liked the new bots, but that's pretty much it.

I give it a 3/10.

JariTheMighty -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/11/2013 14:04:23)

It was an improvement from the egg hunt, which I like a lot. PvP with extra rewards is always nice.
A big plus was the fact we were able to keep collecting spores even when we had everything finished already. The credit reward from releasing a set of 10 Purified spores could have been greater though.

As has been said, there could have been more missions aside from just collecting spores, but overall I think it was a great event. And I believe there's still 1 more boss (2v1?) coming?

I give it a nice 8.5/10

Trae -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/11/2013 14:09:32)

I liked it cause I am now closer to a blue star decided to go with botanical hazard over the botanical Borg cause I am a 1v1 player mostly
I did not however like how pricey the new bike was :(
And the boss was difficult for me cause I am level 34 Ps. Thanks to Tank for the build in his video

Thylek Shran -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/11/2013 17:02:52)

The drop rate for purified spores was much to low. Also for the other spores in the first week.
You can obtain two of four rewards quiet fast but for the other two it takes ages. It took me
10 or 12 days to collect all 40 spores because I donīt have the time to play much due my work
on the ED Compendium and RL so it was pretty close. Of course I only got the 750 rating points
Spore Hunter chievo which seems to be fair.

I did not had enjoyed it much because for the rewards you are forced to do PVP.
The problem with PVP is that its totally screwed. Jugg is so broken for the juggs, and 1vs1 is
dominated by Azrael/support build players. So you have to do slow and less rewarding 2vs2
if you want at least a little bit balance and fairness.

kingpowerlord -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/18/2013 12:05:52)

i liked this simplicity of this but i think it was maybe a bit too simple.

when thinking of war, i thought their would be more npc battling incorporated and better rewards. it was kind of too much like the egg hunt and thus overused the new feature of drops. but overall was good for the time they had.

The Incredible Hulk -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/18/2013 12:16:05)

2v2 is not even balanced.....

CN2025 -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/19/2013 3:19:03)

the boss was too easy some even did it in 1 go
the purified spore drop chance was too low i cant make it pas 40 );
more missions
7/10 for scores

edwardvulture -> RE: Arborgeddon saga feedback thread (5/19/2013 13:45:55)

They should fix balance and make the game fun again before they make an event that needs people to do Pvp, and they should have made spores drop-able from NPC's.
