What if we make atom smasher use no energy instead?

Ranloth -> RE: Buff adrenaline (5/13/2013 14:25:59)

Then you can lower its efficiency as well, therefore a nerf in power. It's cheap as it is. And TLMs would have fun with it whole day, especially with Reroute.

yes but emp grenade can take a lot of energy at a kind of a small cost and it's unblockable...assimilation it's a damaging skill that don't cost anything take out a realtively small energy and give it to you...at least for merc , i think that an atom smasher without energy cost would be a good buff, since it is blockable and it would be in pair with the others

Ranloth -> RE: Buff adrenaline (5/13/2013 14:46:33)

Perhaps EMP is too strong, thought of this? Atom was crippled along with the Strength progression (diminishing returns) whilst EMP was not. It's usually bad to compare moves that are balanced to that of OP, in this case EMP vs. Atom.

Blockable or not, 15% still goes through. It may not be a lot but it will always drain something.

Necromantres -> RE: Buff adrenaline (5/13/2013 14:47:37)

yes emp it's too strong, but instead of nerfing why not buff?

Ranloth -> RE: Buff adrenaline (5/13/2013 15:24:45)

Buff... EMP? Why? Why buff Atom too? We don't want Energy being taken away in one go, especially with 1 EP/1 stat.

toopygoo -> RE: Buff adrenaline (5/13/2013 19:49:39)

how about atom smasher deals 50% damage ALONG with the energy drain, and 10% life regain. so its an all in one, and will increase energy cost by 1 point. as it is, it does minute drain, and gives you nothing back really.

edwardvulture -> RE: Buff adrenaline (5/13/2013 22:32:09)

Mercs are too susceptible to energy drains. My suggestion could either be a static amount of energy back or a percentage of damage.
