DARK SOUL OF HELL -> the dev's mistakes !!! (5/17/2013 14:07:02)

what changes/updates/......... do u think was a mistake ?
personally : i can give a huge general mistake which is omega , omega was the biggest mistake done . everything started going downhill after omega was released .
Plus : it seems that when someone create a new fun build everybody starts copying it and the next update finish it up .
The dev's are debuffing everything .
for tactical merc : is it just me or is tlm really out of balance ( i don't mean they are neither up nor op ) but they only have 2 builds : supp abuse or 5 focus surgical
now supp abuse is kinda fun but doesn't have a high ratio so it doesn't fit my personal requirement , 5 focus is many things : boring , boring , boring , boring :P
don't u think that tlm desperately need new skills like smoke malf intimidate or matrix or anything anything , i mean seriously they can't debuff their opponents or defence themselves , making them extremely boring .

Drianx -> RE: the dev's mistakes !!! (5/17/2013 14:57:06)

I'm also one of those who quit playing, but seriously these threads aren't helping.

In fact nothing is helping at this moment, as developers made the big mistake of not caring about forums feedback.

Like you could expect a serious and thorough feedback in a 100 character twitter post... or in a facebook post.

DARK SOUL OF HELL -> RE: the dev's mistakes !!! (5/17/2013 15:03:01)

but knowing the mistake is the right way to solve it .
so now we can clear everything out

STRUT MY MUTT -> RE: the dev's mistakes !!! (5/17/2013 15:30:30)

@goldslayer

All my friends have quit too, I'm the only one left.

The only reason I play is because it's the only game I can play at work. Unfortunately it seems my employer thinks it's a good idea to block video game websites. :(

Somehow this one gets thru.

Nexus... -> RE: the dev's mistakes !!! (5/17/2013 16:25:26)

The developers and mods don't seem to care what we think when it comes to this issue. They don't value our opinions as opinions, but rather see everything we write in threads like these as "hate speech?", or an act of blatant disrespect towards the developers. I am not sure how to get the message across anymore, because they have not been listening for a while now. I think the only way for them to really see their faults, is to let the game continue as it is, and let them see what happens. It is only a matter of time before the player base drastically declines, and the developers are forced to take drastic measures to bring some people back.

I am fine waiting for that day, I know it will come.

Prophet

PS:
And yes, I am in a the same boat as most of you.

For the record, just a quick glance at the list of discussion threads would have led you to the Epic Duel's Decline thread, which is really what the basis of this thread is about. There's no need to have repetitive topics.

This is absolutely not true in any way, shape or form. Proper and helpful feedback is always welcomed by the AE Game staff and the Forum staff alike. The basic guidelines for feedback is simple: Follow the rules, give constructive criticism where it applies, be courteously and respectful. That's an exceptionally fair requirement and, quite frankly, asks for very little.

quote:

Constructive Criticism

  • What is it?
    Constructive criticism is being able to process and offer your own thoughts and opinions in order to give courteous and friendly feedback. This is done by explaining what you like and dislike, while at the same time providing feedback that is useful. This is what separates constructive feedback from ranting/complaining and flaming.

  • Does it help? How?
    Yes! Constructive criticism helps because not only are you giving feedback about what you don't like about a quest/event, but you're also giving feedback about what you DID like in the quest. Feedback could include on such topics as statistics, more dialogue, more explanatory cutscenes, more fights - everything that quests or events would normally include. This gives the game staff a better idea on future improvements.

  • Example of Constructive Criticism:
    "I didn't partularly like this war because it felt too empty. To have made it better, I think the staff could have had a 50% cutscene to unlock rather than just a shop to progress the storyline. As it was, I personally was a little dissapointed that this war felt more rushed than previous wars, however I do understand that the staff had a lot on their plate when making this release.
    That said, I greatly enjoyed the boss fight, the animations and art fit perfectly with the song that was playing in the background. So while not one of the best wars DF have done, I still enjoyed it. Thank you, DF staff!"

  • Example of Unconstructive Criticism:
    "I didn't like this war at all. What were the staff thinking? The items in the shop were ugly, overpriced and were bugged!! No cutscene? That was never done before and it is not how it should be done ever. Seriously, doesn't the staff ever listen to us?! The boss fight was too hard and took forever to beat :( And there was no sound. I dont think the staff even care anymore. Best war ever /sarcasm I hate this game D:<!"

  • Now, since the topic of this thread has been redirected into a thread already established, I'm going to go ahead and lock this one up.
