Yeh Life drain has been made a little less terrible now heal and life drain might actually be used once in a while.

I find it funny how the heal amount was increased to 400 1 day after we were discussing that. Not sure whether it was because Nulgath read the forums at that time or whether he had that planned already. No matter what, I would say reducing the energy cost would have been much better than raising the heal amount.

They are still UnderPowered so decreasing their by 1 element point which will effeciency wise make it better but not OP since the cost per health point is .75 for 3/4 but for 2/3 is .66 which should be at least how a card should cost per health point. Maybe they should do what they did with HP so they can make the game more balanced and do more with element points. They should make each point 10 points and increase the costs by 10 too that way cards could be balanced easier.

I believe he was reading the forums. There was a lot of heat going on during those times so maybe he wanted us to speculate a bit more by keeping quiet. There is no way this is a coincidence and Nulgath does have a good habit of listening to us.

EDIT: What are you guys talking about? The 100+ heal made it much better and more balanced. I never liked Life Drain as much as I could have because 300 heal was not enough for the cost it had. But now it got a boost so 8 energy plus that 500 damage is very well worth it.

7 energy for 500 damage and 300 heal is good too but it works just as well this way.

The thing is, I don't think LD should be a way to negate sacrifice. Other I don't find much meaning in the word "Sacrifice". With the improved heal, you don't really has to consider whether you want to use Sacrifice or not, now you simply 100% negate the cost for only 8 points and deal additional 500 dmg + you will still have energy back to use poison, MoD, shields etc.

Lowering the energy amount from 8 --> 7 would be better as you don't just spam Sacrifice and LD at once but still think about whether you want to use Sacrifice or not.

Yo kise I am just doing random pvp right now.

I would say 8 energy and 400 heal was good for Life drain but I am not seeing why heal got increased by 400(light character heal(
I mean life drain plus sacrifice that 1000 damage=attack 5+attack 5=1000 damage and has the same energy cost and cause lfie drain heals 400 and sacirifice take 400 I think it cancels out

@vagaran: You are totally missing the point about what has been truly done. Try not to think about it as simple negating Sacrifice. Try to think about it as a means to accounting for such a high cost requirement.

See the way I see it is that 400 heal is MUCH better than utilizing LD with Sacrifice. Sacrifice is much better to be saved in the end for a final finisher that way the 400 HP loss doesn't even matter anymore because you won the match. If Sacrifice is clogging your hand then you have too much Sacrifice in your deck and instead of using it or discarding it, you can combo it in with Life Drain.

It is a win win situation. People who are using it solely for a LD/Sacrifice combo are missing out on bigger and more better tactical strategies because there is more to Sacrifice than just that silly combo.

@above: Exactly. Idk where this combo came from exactly, but you can also use two 5 attack cards to simulate the exact same effect [8D]

Sacrifice + 5 block is very good. 3 mana points for 600 positive damage points (providing you don't get unblockabled to death).

Oh and you think time is gonna work but it doesn't they Open a New Tab on their Appliance ,computer, or laptop and then they do whatever, But while that going on the PVP time isn't moving at all and I am just standing their for more then 30 sec just waiting.

@plebster With the shield , you gain more shields than you lose health(except for unblockables)which is why my Male Void Incarnate has 4 shields(3 default, one added)

i used to have your stance on this as shadow is supposed to use health, not generate it. however, with the adding of more life draining cards, i think it is appropriate and necessary to buff it the heal way.

Wow I never know how butt Void Incarnate is to level. It has so many specials that the empower is useless and it has no extra special like poison to counter the heals.

@below oh your about to see what I am do to my rat I am give it 1 more shield then the rest poisons using cc it will murder people, but right now I need to focus on training my flesh fiend is lvl 12(I use no x-boost no sg) so as I train it I gain money and I gain money I will buy pack I bought a pack but it turned out cause ei had my ice series open instead of my shadow I got ice cards.
