I said this before and I will say it again. As it stands now Win/loss Ratio > Creativity. People could careless about being creative as long as they get a decent win rate.

However when said build interferes with another person win rate and continues to show up most of the time due to it being the current popular build the people who don't want to use will come here and complain about it to get it nerfed even if the build is full of counters.

That is just how it is whether the build is truly OP or overused.

I do think the focus nerf was a lil of an overshot.

from 6>>>4 should have went to 4.3. aka: Focus 1:+4 Focus2:+5 Focus3:+4 Focus4:+5 Focus5:+4

But one can argue that robot builds are still viable, I see them all the time and they are working.



And yes. Gamma Bot is Perfect right not.
It's like an exploiter of weakness, being able to attack in ether energy or phy.
or another form of finisher with it's spam-able special for a finisher.

As Tran? I think.. said the bot was arguable OP, I was there.

gamma bot isnt useless... 17 base dmg + 20(focus 5)= 37base dmg
that is a bit more base dmg than a lvl 35 wep
then comes the tech bonus so you could be doing as much dmg as a normal basic, if not more with gamma bot? What is wrong with that? It is great 4 mages and cybers with malf cos of the spammable energy atak which is unblockable, so it is a good way 2 finish someone, or hit them without risking a block. I would luv 2 hav a gamma bot.

Here what i see :
Forget about the normal attacks .
For IA u need 13 turns to do 130% dmg
For gamma : in 13 turns u can do the special 3 or 4 times ( not sure about the cool down ) . So this means three 100% special , getting 300% dmg in 13 turns .
Even if it means using more then 1 turn . But i would rather get gamma then IA .
And if IA get deflected :o :o :o

IA night be strong but 3 turns warmup and weak untill 6 turns so its not a use whenever you want like gamma beside its only usable 1 time and overtakes one of the two options and shares cd like any bot so any skill like double slash and bludegon or zeker or all those can even deal more than 130% and can be used anytime while IA energy hit can only be used once in the end of game to end the game so its not really a nuke.

beside what fight lasts 13 turns unless a fight between two tankers who doesnt have focus 5.

Hmmm the bot first got nerf by disallowing you to use special and attack at the same time. Then they nerf by reducing focus from 35 to 30. now they nerf the focus more.

A question. Wouldnt i rather pump my tech to a level rather then trying my best to get focus since it gives so little buff now

@Dark most of my battles take a good 8-10 rounds, and ed with me raging IA for mid-40s on tanks.

Infernal Android is actually still pretty great. After being bombarded with nerfs, I say it is a really tough bot to survive all that.

Yes.....do 40 damage one turn then do 60 on the next. With one robot

Yea, that's my only problem with the bot. The effect should be unblockble and undeflectable.

i think the IA special core for tech attack that can do e xtra damage should be able to be used more than once in a battle, because it is delfectable... however in order to balance this new ability, the % increase should start at 80% the turn a warmup/cooldown is over, so it takes longer to use.

Do you remember when the infernal android first came out? Well if you weren't around for that I will let you know when it first came out the laser was unblockable and undeflectable. When it got it's first nerf it lost that ability with the laser since it was vastly OP.

And for all of those who are complaining about it being deflectable be happy the staff was able to make it's laser deflectable because they were originally going to make it blockable where at the time you would have had the risk of doing 0 damage and now only 15%. So tell me what is better having it do 15% because they made it blockable or 50% because it is deflectable?

I myself was not a big fan of the Infernal Android [:@]

I may have only been a low level at the time, but there were players who managed to rack up enough credits for one. Man, it did crazy damage.

I really don't mind any of the nerfs, just thepart where it is deflectable. You need to wait a few turns to power this bot up, then use it on rage for maximum power. Then it gets deflected, doing only 20-ish damage.

So, would I rather have it be 15% or 50%......neither. Even plasma bolt, a tier 1 skill, can do better than that :P

The point I was making was that it was originally going to be blockable, but just when they were going to make the nerf (first set of nerfs) they were able to make the laser deflectable so they went with that for the sake of fairness but at the same time giving it a nerf.

Also if you don't want to worry about that risk then you don't have to use it.

I think IA is a little UP but not by alot. I'd reccomend making the special non deflectable. or make it reusable. After i use it and it gets deflected the bot kinda useless D:

If it was non-deflectable then so should every other Bot. Re-useable will also not happen because it'd make it a carbon-copy of Gamma Bot and Special attacks with abilities (that are not counterable, i.e. Poison can be cured) are meant to be once per battle.

Underpowered? Please I still see people who use tech spam focus builds get 40-50 damage on rage with this bot. Also a grantee deflectable hit from the laser? no thank you this bot powers up and with the correct build using it that would be devastating. Reusable no as well. It would just go back to people using the infernal android's laser with every rage without consequence. Let's not put the infernal android back up on that high horse that it was finally knocked off of.
