I bought the exile promo pack and I think it would be cool if the energy weps had the energy core and the physical weps had a physical core currently both E and P wepons just have the core deal energy damege
This would also affect the legion weps as well

Supported.

How about those who bought it already and want the Energy version to have the Energy core? You cannot just change that. Only because they are the same type, it doesn't mean they are useless.

Yes they can.

Thanks for being so obvious. What about those who bought it to get Energy version and the Energy core? Do they not count?

Xendran -> RE: The new weapons cores (5/25/2013 17:30:17)

If what i said was so obvious, why are the things we said the opposite of each other?
Also, your argument of "what about X person who wanted Y thing" can be applied to every single patch in the game.

Ranloth -> RE: The new weapons cores (5/25/2013 17:37:20)

... I'd believe promos would be an exception here then, since you pay for them. Counter-argument would be being able to purchase them in-game as well which could be for free (Credits) or using Varium.

What I it could toggle like double click to change from energy to physical

King Helios -> RE: The new weapons cores (5/25/2013 18:44:03)

^ Why can't we just make energy and physical with Energy core, and energy and physical with Physical core? For both alignments.

martinsen5 -> RE: The new weapons cores (5/25/2013 19:04:17)

@Trans, where exactly did it say the weapons would deal energy damage? Players only came to this conclusion after testing the weapons, meaning they bought something they were not fully aware of what did. The description of both cores give no information about being physical or energy attacks, nor does it say the damage percentage towards own and opposite alignments. (Quite the rip-off if you ask me)

Myself, I assumed it worked like this thread suggests, physical versions come with a physical core, whereas the energy versions come with an energy core. I was wrong, of course.

Trae -> RE: The new weapons cores (5/25/2013 19:41:35)

^^
Exactly what I assumed
