Why have our posts been reset?
I was at almost 2.5k now only at 502.
Why has this happened?

Some forums have a pruning system that deletes posts made after a certain period of time. This time frame varies depending on what forum section your post is in. A [FAQ] tag on a thread or a sticky can bypass the pruning system as well and keep it around longer. Deleted threads can reduce your post count.

Your posts may also be deleted by an ArchKnight or moderator which definitely impacts post counts. You should be getting PMs if anything is deleted though.

Not exactly sure if it's possible to see a sharp drop in posts from 2500 to 502 but the 2 reasons above would be the likeliest reasons for a post drop.

It has happened to all my friends though as well.
My mate had 5k , down to like 200.
Someone had 11k, now to 4.3k.
It seems that everyone's posts are just going.

A couple days ago the forums were down for a bit for a server move (according to the page that appeared when attempting to log in). It would seem many of the posts may not have been carried over, thus dropping post counts. Not sure of my exact number as I only take note the rare times I look at my profile, but I dropped from somewhere near 5,000 a couple weeks ago to ~400 then as well.

All recent posts still appear to exist, so it seems it was only rather old posts that have been removed (which happens over time in most sections anyway). So nothing to worry about ultimately, it's really only a number.

I went from 2,800 to 1,900 as well.

Also, I saw the EpicDuel Battle Strategy forum go down to only 800 posts, when I remember it having over 1,500 before this update.

notagoodname -> RE: Posts reset (6/9/2013 15:09:18)

Went from about 2k to 68...

Please don't post unless you have something to contribute to the question that was asked. Remember, threads in Forum Support aren't meant to be discussions. Since the question's been answered in sufficient depth, I'm going to lock this thread.
