ok well the title explains it all.. let people choose an alignment for there character without having to join a faction. I want to support legion but I do not have any
desire AT ALL to join a faction ( since most care about the wins you can earn more than what your name is etc .. least that's what I've learned about most factions in games )
but yeah either way I think you should be able to be a "lone wolf" legionnaire or a "lone wolf" exile instead of being forced into a faction just so you can pick a side in the war.

Heck it's even simple to fit into the story like the title just say each side has begun "hiring individual mercenaries due to losses on each side" etc etc

hey, i know this aint the place for recruiting, i just wanted to let you know (and others) that our faction runs on a unique based scoring method that combines ANY contribution within the game (for exile) and all for the faction,
we use a system called FacPoints, in which your "rating" is based on your influence, as well as tokens, as well as activity, presentness and even helpful contributions to faction members such as fixing builds, helping with missions, 2v2-ing together, can all be reported (with photo evidence of course) to gain additional FacPoints and increase your rank within the faction. we also have a declassified rank of Council, which is above officer, and they act as sub-owners and are treated like partners.

as of now the faction isnt big, and we just want people who play the game because they enjoy it and others enjoy it (and to help exile win)

i just updated our website today. click Here to see how our points system works. there is also a page displaying all current values, and i have a link to my email for easy contact. i want to revolutionize the way factions work overall becasue i dont approve of the current system myself.


however, i support your suggestion because i used to be in a similar case myself (until i made my own).

@ReinVI: Maybe make your own faction or join one of your friends's? I have lots of friends who have factions they don't care too much about, and since I kinda quit ED I'm hanging around in those kind of facs. They give me influence when I get on every once in a while and let me join wars and stuff, but I don't need to be pressured to donate or have lots of wins a day to stay in it, plus it's nice to be in your friend's fac :)

I support this.
It is ridicoulos that you need to join a group (Faction) in order to support the respective Aligments, in the real world you can rebel on your own, can you not?
I'm aware of the ''It's a game, not real life'' stuff, but still this is just illogical and should be changed instantly.

But hey, what exactly is logical in this game?
I've yet to see something..

It's something that we've discussed in the 2v2 fight, so of course I'll support. xD

I guess it could still award Personal Influence but perhaps 50% of it than what you get in the faction (so 5 -> 2.5 (3), 10 -> 5, 15 -> 7.5 (8)), so there's still incentive to join a faction, which is Personal Influence + enjoying the perks of it (there will be faction improvements during the Summer, apparently).
I suppose these could also help in the World Domination, right? All of 'em would be as one group ("Lone Wolfs") and fight as one on the ranking but not really benefit anyone but themselves when it comes to fighting.
