Submit To God -> Starting Stats (6/13/2013 14:46:52)

The starting stats excluding HP and EP add up to 80 for all classes. However The starting EP is 54 for Mercs and TactM, 55 for BM and BH and 56 for CH and TM. Shouldn't this be equal for all classes?

toopygoo -> RE: Starting Stats (6/13/2013 16:00:00)

Should it be? i dont know, the scaling on their skills and stats is a little different, so it would give one an unfair advantage at lower levels. perhaps, unlocking this stat(s) later on in a higher level when it would have less effect on the character and the build? maybe 25 or so?

SkillledED -> RE: Starting Stats (6/15/2013 19:53:24)

Starting stats depend on the use of the class. Say a Cyber Hunter has mostly technology when you start out. That's because Cyber Hunter is an Energy-based class.

Unfortunately I do not understand the foundation supporting this statement. Mind explaining a bit?

ReinVI -> RE: Starting Stats (6/15/2013 20:46:17)

classes beginning stats are dependent on the focus of the classes... Cyber hunter/ tech mages are more caster / energy reliant classes so they start out with a higher energy where as
mercs/ tactical mercs are more dependent on survival so they start out with higher hp instead...

bm/ bounties are more balanced and have a closer gap between the two

Stabilis -> RE: Starting Stats (6/15/2013 21:24:31)

If you mean energy used for skills would that not apply smoothly to everyone? I mean, some classes gain or lose energy more quickly than others, but how is that entwined with "destiny"? And no, you did not say destiny, I did.

NDB -> RE: Starting Stats (6/16/2013 1:13:24)

Ya, some classes automatically have more stats than others. It's quite unfair.

Mercenary: hp/55 ep/54
Bounty Hunter hp/55 ep/55
Tech Mage hp/55 ep/56
Tactical Mercenary: hp/55 ep/54
Cyber Hunter: hp/55 ep/56
Blood Mage: hp/55 ep/55

So, the two mercenaries have 109 stats in health and energy, tm and ch have 111, and bh and bm have 110. Makes no sense.

Bloodpact -> RE: Starting Stats (6/16/2013 2:02:12)

did you add in the support/str/dex/and tech ? as a whole all the numbers should be the same.

NDB -> RE: Starting Stats (6/16/2013 3:37:30)

Mercenary: 23/19/18/20
Bounty Hunter: 20/23/19/18
Tech Mage: 20/21/22/17
Tactical Mercenary: 18/22/19/21
Cyber Hunter: 19/19/24/18
Blood Mage: 22/19/21/18

After Omega, TM was the only one that was changed; this is pretty much how they've always been and they're all 80. So, no as a whole TM and CH still get the advantage like a said.

Xendran -> RE: Starting Stats (6/16/2013 5:06:45)

This is because it helps with the balance at low levels.
This is direct proof that the skills are not balanced properly, and not even the devs think so. They have to buff up some classes with extra stats in order to compensate for poor skill balance.

DeamJean -> RE: Starting Stats (6/23/2013 12:20:37)

Some classes need their energy so they start with more energy with less hp

Please take a moment to read the facts before making assumptions. Every class starts with equal (55) HP so I don't have a clue what your on about.
