Dual Thrusters -> Why did I have to get stuck with you.... (6/17/2013 23:16:49)

Before the update, I was an exile. Then because it was getting inactive, I trashed it. Some legion player asked me to help his faction rack up some influence. So I joined and played along. Then the update came and BAM! I'm stuck with legion -.-

Would it be possible if the people infactions before the update could switch their allignment to solve problems like mine?

I agree, I joined one of my friend's factions for the sake of maintaining influence gain on the small amounts of fights that I actually play through nowadays, but it was Legion and I prefer exile far more. In my opinion, it's kind of unfair to abruptly lock people's alignments in place like that.

I can support this as well. Even though I am actually on the side I want to be on, I don't think it is fair that you don't get a choice in the matter if you were in a faction before an update.

I support, I accidentally clicked Legion on my main account when I wanted Exile...
But then again, I did hear that Rabble will add the feature... Just a large cooldown.

You see people complaining about people not being loyal to their faction and now people complaining they're on the wrong side.

You joined to help a friend, wonderful, but tell me, what -important- difference would being in the Legion have for you?

This happened to me too,apparently a legion founder recruited me for fun until I realized after the update I am permanently stuck with legion even though I didn't have that screen pop up confirming that I side along with legion with no choice.However, the war hasn't even started and yet we are testing the exile/legion battles and somehow people complaining that battles don't have enough players or too long to connect.I have tweeted to nightwraith if we are allowed to have a 2nd chance of picking sides before the actual war starts. In this case supported.

My sister wanted to come back for the war and as she comes back the faction was inactive (Over 400 days). She left to come & join legion but too bad something............................... ;/

I have the faction I want but still. Supported, they even stated that changing factions afterwards will be a great ordeal of some sort, or something along the lines of that. My solution, since they did lock the factions to us as soon as they did, we should be allowed to change alignment for the first time without any ordeal.

Look back on the June 13th DNs and you'll see that they WILL allow you to change your alignment, but it will cost you.

Frankly, I don't understand how one could accidentally click on Legion. There are 2 gigantic buttons! Maybe an "Are you sure?" message box could help prevent unintentional selection of the wrong alignment.

He is talking about people who were already in factions that weren't given the choice of whether they wanted to be legion or exile due to the change.

I'm aware of that, the second part of my post was directed to those who "accidentally" clicked the wrong alignment.

@Khalix: Not everyone thinks like you do. Some people take faction alignments far more seriously.
