Exploding Penguin -> New Achievement Purchasing System (6/30/2013 0:08:41)

So I just purchased another achievement, and the first thing I noticed is the pricing is not at all lined up with the previous battle token cost... I'm supposing that's how it's supposed to be, but I'll just point that out here along with my suggestion.

Second suggestion is pretty basic: Include the rating point value of the achievement. Before, the point value was identical to the tokens spent. However, the credit prices are fairly arbitrary and it's hard to tell how much certain achievements are worth in rating. The clover achievement costs 5250 credits and gives 750 rating points, and that was very confusing for me.

@ exploding

For the first part they made it 7X the amount of credits to tokens when it was originally suppose to be 10X from the design notes which is a good thing for those who want to buy achievements. For your second suggestion supported even though I already know how much each is worth other don't.

*___* Seeing them credit prices made me wish I had simply used tokens before the change.

still haven't figured out how these achievements work these days

Just go on dread plain ( any flag) and get 200 influence. Then go on another place like fortune city and get 200 influence excluding central station.

Achievements are now cheaper than before. I actually wished I had not used tokens to buy those achievements.

@Jekyll: Same, given the 1-10 exchange rate of tokens to credits and the fact that the achievements don't follow this guideline in their pricing, I really wish I saved those 10k or so battle tokens XD.

I bought three achievements, but I question whether they were worth it not really, but still for some of the achievements credit prices can be lowered or the Rating Points can be increased not tremendously, but to balance the amounts for both credit and rating points. Rating points don't really help you in the game they are just there to be acknowledged for.

Am I the only one who thinks that achievements shuld be awarded after e.g. 3000 battle victories or killstreak and they shuld be bought.

Necromantres -> RE: New Achievement Purchasing System (7/3/2013 10:03:39)

well you could implement some achievements to be won doing some things, like the bosters using a boster (you can't now but you get the idea) or the friday 13, to win 13 fights in a Fryday 13, and so on...

in my eyes achivements are for rich people now :3
