One of the problems we might face currently are the people with high HP. You may have a counter to it or may not and it is frustrating for people who are in a situation where they are much of a punchbag.

Here's an example: http://imgur.com/ZhDvKEx
Starts off the battle with high HP and is a Strength dude. With BL and Smoke Screen, it may be difficult with people with low Dexterity. Because he doesn't have the Azrael's Will Core with him, he is slightly easier compared to other people like Matt 1000 (check today's 1v1 leaderboard!) who has a similar build.

Whether Agility will be brought back or not, I think that we should talk about these people...

Mother1 -> RE: Agility (7/1/2013 7:51:29)

High HP players mostly have the weakness of low defenses. Also the azreal's will core can be countered by the yeti as well. As for bring back agility nope not supported as we can get real high HP without already having something lacking in another area. It is already punishment enough without Agility.

Ranloth -> RE: Agility (7/1/2013 7:52:29)

Agility was said to be a band-aid that had many flaws, by the community and Devs alike. Quite a few times Devs have said that they want to get rid of it as soon as possible and Omega has enabled them to do so. No, it should not be brought back. High HP builds exist, yes, but it's "1 stat / 1 HP" instead of old "1 stat / 2 HP" which justifies why Agility is not needed anymore. Furthermore, there's less stats compared to Delta and enhancements thus rendering Agility even more useless and forcing players into one type of build with ~same HP.

ValkyrieKnight -> RE: Agility (7/1/2013 9:05:07)

Coming from someone who has used 170 ~ 200 hp consistently throughout Delta on all classes except Cyber/Tact I would take back agility in a heart beat if it meant the hp per stat went back to 2.

Rayman -> RE: Agility (7/1/2013 9:57:10)

That's just 129 hp, if you bring back agility it won't make any difference really, just -1de\res.

I tried to give matt a more balanced build of that version but he still wants to use the high HP ones only because it works better with the azrael stuff, I think I should stop helping them and let them do what they want.

And 1 of the problems is that we have many unblockable moves, gun+chairman+meteor then you can gun again there are 4 easy hits.
Let just wait and see what rabble can do, agility doesn't need to come back.

The Incredible Hulk -> RE: Agility (7/1/2013 14:57:05)

I do not think Agility should come back. The whole purpose of Omega is freedom. We can change stats how ever we like; no requirements on weapons for example.

There is a weakness for every build but you gotta find out what that weakness is and how to counter it if you come into contact with someone with a similar build.

Exploding Penguin -> RE: Agility (7/1/2013 20:10:16)

One thing that could work would be to make block/deflection chance scalings exponential, so those with vastly lower tech/dex than their opponent will experience a large amount of blocks/deflects. Unfortunately, this would also increase luck influence in a fight and make fights against glass cannons and other such builds even more luck-based.

ValkyrieKnight -> RE: Agility (7/1/2013 21:45:37)

I like the idea suggested that debuffs will not influence the block / deflection / critical percentages, it simply lowers your Def/Res/Aux damage. This makes it so that players with say, 19 dex but a -47 dex debuff can't debuff you and expect to then afterwards hit you every time.

Mother1 -> RE: Agility (7/1/2013 22:03:39)

@ Valkyrieknight

And this idea would make classes that have technician and reflex boost have only 2 counters (one of which is perma rare) since by doing this while you would nerf the effectiveness of the protection you would be able to gain extra power with deflection and blocks.

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: Agility (7/1/2013 22:04:23)

I find the high HP BHs you mention rather easy to defeat, actually... Four of the six classes can easily prevent them from using Smoke in the first place with their energy draining skills, mages have glass cannons and casters to counter them, and BMs appear to have no signature build at the moment, but rather depend on flexibility and reacting to the opponent's movements, as far as I can gather. I don't know how well that has worked for them, but they don't seem to be doing too badly.

ED Divine Darkness -> RE: Agility (7/2/2013 15:40:32)

no agility needed, put simply. when i was a lvl 32 i beat my lvl 35 BH friend. should i tell u why? EMP!!! <3 i went first and empd him. those kind of builds are only good if the person with it starts. that build needs smoke to win. IMO tanky BH is the best build for BH right now and it beats any other class. high hp bh builds are vulnerable to EMP or a high energy drain. <3
