Hi to everyone, I know we focus on balancing match making and core adjustment. But I want to try making a class and hearing your views about it. Epic duel will not concern any new class for who know when as the main issue relate to the core mechanic.[:(]

Please Note - This is not a complete skills list as I want to know how the skills would please the group for future reference

Well here goes


Class: Ghost

inspired by: The character "Ghost" from marvel and deathstroke from DC
Reason : I feel that the existing classes are board/similar in term of skills and I think we need some more specific class with unique skills to bring a twist to our standard builds. I thought about a ninja at first but that doesn't go well with the theme that epic duel present.

It role - To be a tactical player that relay on his/her many skills and tools to get the job done. A person that focus on greed and fortune to determine where he/she is needed

increase the deflection rate of the character

No.2 Backstab
giving you 15 % of performing a counterattack
How it work - when the enemy hits you with any attack (not including damage over time), if you still live then the chance is applied to deal damage

No.1 disarmed
An attack that hits the opponent and disable their gun for 2 turns
Energy required lv 1 17 ep, each lv up + 2
stat required tech lv 1 - 16 then +2
warm up 0 cool down 3

Lv 1 30% of normal damage
Lv 2 40%
Lv 3 50%
Lv 4 60%
Lv 5 70%
Lv 6 80%
Lv 7 90%
Lv 8 100%
Lv 9 110%
Lv 10 120%

No. 2 barrage (ultimate)
the player charge at the opponent with a slash then fire bullets (5 physical shots) from his/her rifle while moving backward and ending it with a grenade (physical)
energy required Lv 1 36 ep then +3
warm up 3 cool down 3

Steal 100 credit from opponent (I know it not possible)

Lv 2 36% more damage
Lv 3 42% more damage
Lv 4 48% more damage
Lv 5 53% more damage
Lv 6 58% more damage
Lv 7 62% more damage
Lv 8 66% more damage
Lv 9 70% more damage

No. 3 smokescreen - Note from the Bounty hunter class

No. 4 reflex Note - same as bounty hunter


No. 5 Proton grenade
a grenade with a 20% of stun and remove ep from the opponent (note - does no damage, similar to EMP)
increase with tech
energy required - lv 1 - 14ep then +2
warm up 1 cool down 2
Lv 1 10 ep
Lv 2 12 ep
Lv 3 14 ep
Lv 4 16 ep
Lv 5 17 ep
Lv 6 18ep
Lv 7 19 ep
Lv 8 20 ep

No. 6 Multi attack
action - become invisible and move towards the opponents and strike them with his/her sword
The damage can be determine by the element of your main weapon

Ehh, I'm not going to support neither support.
I've made so many of these kind of threads; no one hardly supports it.
I'll doubt it because no one wants a new class except me.
I've been all 6 classes and all are boring.
I think they will add new classes in 6 years time (exaggerating) when the game will be completely boring at that time.

This class is a mixed bag.

Instinct - Annoying.

The block % stacked with the deflection core = 21% chance to block? No thanks.

Backstab - Very annoying.

A very lucky based skill that if activated even just once can spell doom for your opponent. With Shadow Arts making such a huge difference even at 10% increase I say Nay ! Backstab stay away.


Disarm - It's okay.

20% Damage increase + Disarm foe 35 energy? 35 seems a bit much. An interesting skill I'd like to see in action.

Barrage - Puke

Troll skill is trolly.

Smokescreen - Eh okay

They're 2 classes with Malfunction so it make sense to have 2 with Smokescreen, reluctantly I'd allow it.


Reflex Boost - No go.

Wouldn't work, there's already 2 classes with Reflex Boost.

Photon Grenade - Sure

Why not, looks fair.
